Ric Carlisle is the best coach in the league at putting his players in a position to succeed. He's a miracle worker in that respect. And McGee is definitely a talented player. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Carlisle can get him to play well - particularly on offense. Defense is the trickier part.

Yup, and I think Boston's coach is also showing that ability. If Javale can't play well for Carlisle, I think it's safe to say he can't play for anyone.

Leandro Barbosa has done a good job backing Curry.

So far this season Pierce is shooting 31% from the field. :o

"Gilbert Arenas" trending on Twitter -- *never* a good thing in 2015. Somehow I don't see the WNBA hiring him as a branding consultant any time soon.

He is right in a certain sense unfortunately. Sexually objectifying women probably will get the average sports fan to pay some degree of attention. But I don't think it is ethical or right to ADVOCATE for the continued objectification of women in the name of ratings. Subtleties in other female sports the can be viewed as sexual objectification does not justify bastardizing the WNBA.

Was watch Housewives of Atlanta with the girlfirend (unwillingly) and GRJr was on the show.

CCJ was right—that kid is a thug, or should I say wannabe thug. For someone who grew up with a millionaire father, he acts as though he's from the streets. Everything he says is from a reactionary-chip on the shoulder mentality. I'm watching it like "dude, you didn't grow up in the streets, you grew up in a mansion. Stop it."

I see why they got rid of him. He annoyed me in a matter of 5 minutes...imagine being around him for 5 days straight trying to coach that jackass.

All that may be true, and yet...he's playing pretty well in limited minutes for the Pacers so far this season.

He's talking about Glen Rice JR, who's no longer in the NBA. He was shot in the leg 2 months ago and now is on a reality show.
I believe you're talking about Glenn Robinson III. Unless you were being funny and it went over my head

Must be the NBA forcing the 76ers to improve- still not really sure why the 76ers couldn't just go through the D-League route.

They can't do that, half their team is basically D league caliber guys. Its not good there, They have almost no vets and its just bad, plus the philly fans way overestimate the value of their players. There is going to be a riot when they start trading off young guys for vets.

Ish Smith is essentially a d-league caliber player. He was claimed off of waivers before the season started. He wasn't even on a NBA roster to begin the 2014-15 season.

Well unless Philly is going to get 20 spots on their team next year those second round picks are not going to help them more than a high character young vet like Ish Smith. I fell like they are going to start selling guys off. They need vets, they need talent.
