Kings @ Wizards | Dec 21, 2015

The Wizards have the worst 3P% defense in the league. Meanwhile, we're a top 5 3P% team.

But, the Wizards are also #2 in causing turnovers, and you know how turnover prone this squad is.

Exactly. We play down to the competition on nights we should run away with a W...

Disappointing.

Karl is an old coach who I believe is not getting the most out of the talent and may be misusing the talent. I wonder who will be coaching next season?

So I'm starting to like the early start times on the road. By the time I get home from work the game is over and I've avoided wasting my time watching a team who has no interest in competing! Score!

The energy wasn't there tonight, but even Cuz mentioned something about not adjusting after the game. Karl is starting to throw out excuses and the players are starting to kind of call out the calls. They need a good 5 in a row here pretty soon to keep this ship from sinking I think.

Brian Shaw is available...... :D Regarding Karl, I do have to agree he is misusing the available talent, he likes to be the only ego though.

The energy wasn't there for sure but lets think about this. The Wiz simply attacked the Kings in all of their weakest areas. The Kings ALL SEASON have given up corner 3's and 3's in general as part of their defensive scheme, they did that tonight and they got bit big time. How many times have people on this board had to say this about the opposing team, "Good thing they didn't hit those wide open 3's tonight".

Honestly even the Raptors game should have been lost if they hit their open 3's. The Wizards were smart and when they ran back in transition, they had two players sit on the corners and wait for the ball. Eventually they got open shots after open shots.

You can tell by Cousins interviews and quotes in the Bee that he is frustrated by the team's new style. Either way, our best player is playing like azz and that isn't tenable. If he's physically tweeked or out of condition still that may play somewhat of a factor. But he's frustrated and about to blow his top. If he isn't going to flourish under Karl than I think this will be KArl's swan song. Cousins is the MVP caliber player of the team, and if your not moving him the style is going to have to work for him. Or if he needs a coach to connect with him personally (which KArl hasn't appeared to have done) while having an energetic pulse with the team that could be an issue too. Either way Karl is on the hook for getting his best player to produce
