This is the most inept franchise in maybe all of sports right now. The 76ers have better direction than the Suns right now. The Cleveland Browns would wipe the floor against us.

We have players throwing towels at the freaking coach.

If any of you want to see anything change, don't ask for Hornacek to get fired, ask for the biggest and moronic idiot in sports aka Robert Sarver to sell the team.

Hence my banner. Sign the petition! Its not too late. I'm sick and tired of hearing that you have to be a apologist to qualify as a true fan

Thumbs up!

This is the second straight year where Ryan McDonough has let things go beyond a boiling point. It happened last year when Dragic took matters into his own hands and destroyed the organization publicly in order to force a trade. Then McDonough finally acted and went crazy with three huge trades. Now Markieff has gone above and beyond anything Dragic ever did by tweeting trade demands, telling his demands to a Philadelphia reporter, tanking games, lying to the media on media day, and now throwing a towel towards Hornacek during the game tonight.

Why the hell is McDonough waiting so long to trade this guy? If it is because he is waiting until January 15 to make a trade, that is inexcusable. Should have told Markieff to stay home until then. Markieff did what Gambo promised he would do and tanked the season. He dragged the whole team down with him along the way. Congratulations Mr. McDonough. You got what you asked for. The worst state of the the Suns in franchise history. You should be proud.

Gambo speaks the damn truth. How can anyone in their right mind disagree with any of it?

Tyson and Bledsoe have given up because everyone around them sucks or is not trying, and there is no fan support for the team.

I saw a post where one fan said he showed up to a Knight autograph signing at Carl's Jr. or something and no one was there.

Well I agree with most of your posts although I don't think you need to repeat them nonstop. But this is new and I absolutely agree with all of this.

I want Morris gone as much as anyone.

But... McD is likely indeed waiting until January 15.
He has never really lost a trade and he wont do it now. He likely has a bigger deal in place.

I too preached here that going to the season with a player who doesnt want to be there WILL affect moral... But there are more issues on top of the Morris issue.

1. Fragile and sensitive system in place. Relying on 2 non MVP candidate / first option PGs to dominate in order to win is ridiculously optmistic.

Assists per game is a huge indication of team work and balanced attack...and this team doesnt have that. Even with 2 PGs starting.

Just lack of accountability from the coaching staff on the floor.... We all hear the same issues from Hornacek off the court... But he seems to struggle on making his players follow him.

2. Questionable substitution patterns has alienated and forced some players to play for themselves. Some players are likely playing for themselves because they want to appeal to other teams... Maybe post Suns stint. They have given up on being on the coach's rotation because they simply dont understand the criteria to win minutes over. Young and Old players involved IMO. And who csn blame them?

You see veteran players on near max deals make mistakes and dumb decisions and they dont get punished for it... But them... 4 minutes of game time and they make a mistake and they get yanked out for the rest of the game... And extends to the preceding games.

3. Hornacek letting players off the hook has discouraged the others who try their best to follow team rules. Popovic wont have that on his team and he has multiple championship... Riley will personally speak to players if he sees them ignoring the coach. Phil Jackson is not afraid to put players in his dog house or atleast confront them.
Players Lacking respect for Hornacek is obvious.

It's pretty amazing we are two games out of the 8th seed and also two games out of the 4th pick. That is a great silver lining to this season. The east is so much in the middle (but above all of the western teams out of the playoffs) and even the west is hovering around the same spot.

The bad thing about the potential 4th pick is the draft isn't very good. Though it would give us a good chance at Simmons and we could maybe get Dragan.

Bledsoe and Tyson are two of the main ones NOT trying and I certainly can't say PJ, Price, Warren, Booker, Knight and Leuer are not trying. I think you have it in reverse. I know you are a huge Bledsoe fan, but even if he did think that (same goes for Chandler) it isn't an excuse to give up.

It wouldn't shock me if we finished there, but at least in the west this year that probably equates to the 10th pick instead of the 14th. But of course we always get higher picks in bad drafts.

I think people may be getting too upset about the whole Kieff-towel thing...perhaps he was just trying to symbolize what the Suns are doing this season...throwing in the towel.

No, I was just screwing around with someone on another board. Although, switching to the Hornets sounds tempting. :p

No, if they resign they give up money. Markieff, Bledsoe and Chandler can, for all intents and purposes, resign from playing hard, and keep cashing dem checks.

It seems to me to be painfully obvious that Markieff for Jones and Brewer is happening. For anyone wondering why he's on the team, well, a trade for a RFA is the only reason I can think of, unless all the rumors are a lie and he has 0 value leaguewide.

Here's to holding out hope this is a 3 way and Brewer isn't a sun.

Return to Phoenix Suns
