As for the posts about, it's not wall's fault we are 500. Now one is saying wall is better than curry but Wall is a great PG! He is a pretty different beast than Curry too. 6 other gms other than EG passed on Curry so lets not play like no one else missed on him. I'm not defending EG, hell knows I want him gone tomorrow so we can hire Kenny the Jet smith! The wiz are playing well, and are on the up swing, lets be happy about that ok!

Well five GMs technically passed on Stephen Curry in the draft given that Minnesota had two picks. Although you could point to the other GMs who didn't trade Washington for the number 5 pick including San Antonio and Portland...

It's one thing to draft James Harden or Blake Griffin over Curry. At the time, I think anyone would have done that. And Tyreke Evans was a 19 year old who had started and been terrific in his 1 year at UConn.

OTOH, drafting Jonny Flynn instead of Stephen Curry... now *that* was an amazingly bad decision. Flynn hadn't even been good in college! That's what Kahn did w/ the pick he got from us for Foye and Miller.

In some ways the worst thing about the trade (at the time) was that we didn't at least get back Minny's #18 pick, which they traded to Denver for just about nothing and Denver used to pick Ty Lawson. I thought Lawson was the most certain to succeed in the league of any player in that draft.

Hope he continues to progress. The poise and confidence are there and you don't see that with 19 year old kids in the league. Having a veteran locker room also is a good thing as I'm sure he's come in humble and hungry.

I don't know what this means. Otto Porter was injured.

Anyway, they're totally different. Oubre is a phenomenal athlete. And no one is scouting against him yet. But in some ways he is quite *un*developed as a player -- for example, he has no right hand at all yet.

Don't get me wrong. I really liked the pick, and I really like Oubre so far. I just don't see that comparing him to Porter works in any way.

Agreed.

And at any rate, Porter is currently a much better player than Oubre. I'm really happy Oubre is getting some burn and building some confidence though.

awww shucks thanks for that interesting observation. Now, go back to the Pistons. They could really use this type of your support.

Reggie Jackson in half court vs Wall in half court? That's the question.

John is considerably better in transition.

Wall is 2nd in the league in assists playing with guys who aren't exactly elite scorers. You think he gets all those assists on the fast break?

Hopefully Santa brings you something for Christmas to help you with English...

John wall is a much better player than jackson, he only averages .5 more points per game than wall and wal is far beyond him in passing and defense. Wall is a better leader, better court vision, better competitor. I'm not saying jacksons bad, hes not but don't come here trying to say he's better than wall.

Jackson's a solid guard, but he wouldn't be anything special without Andre Drummond.

Props to SVG for building the team around Drummond and giving Jackson a simple role to fill, but he is not better than John Wall.

Excellent troll job dude.

You've gotten six or so posts and counting.

(Question for my Wiz brothers...Could this possibly be Milllielliees evil twin?)

Yeah, that's the kind of nonsense that gets folks banned on other boards.

Like I told the troll in the other thread, you wanna lust for Stephen Curry then go become a Warriors fan. I'll rot for my own teams all star pg who's the best in the eastern conference.

I'm fine with John Wall as my point guard, but Curry is all-world. There's no comparison right now. We are .500, they are .963. I don't root for anybody but the Wiz but I do appreciate greatness.

On the money!

Anyone who's a Wizards fan should be a basketball fan for starters, and anybody who knows anything about basketball is surely living in awe of Stephen Curry.

People really do not consider how good of a team Stephen Curry is on. Curry is a very good player, but he`s playing off the ball majority of the time in that offense. Draymond Green is the one who really runs their show.

I think if you put Wall on the Warriors with their spacing and shooting, he may average 16 to 18 assists a game for a season.

Has LeBron ever been put on a team with so much good talent and coaching ?

We only ban dedicated fans of our own team on this board.
