GT #28 Wizards @Nets 12/26 4:00PM EST (CSN/YES)

The Wizards have been a joy to watch during this three game winning streak. Locked in on both ends, focused and collectively busting their tails Washington has a chance to get back to .500 with a win against a Nets squad that's struggling to put forth a consistent effort.

The Nets don't have much depth, but that starting five, featuring a trio of Wizards killers in Jack, Young and Johnson, definitely gives them a fighting chance.

Having Hollins to go up against Lopez probably might have been a bonus, but since that ship has sailed, Washington will need Gortat to stay out of foul trouble while keeping his composure going up against the kind of length he tends to struggle against.

Oubre and Temple will have to continue to contribute or things might get out of hand quickly.

Hard to figure out this Nets team.

They have a few really talented players who are each capable of going off. From what I gather, they've had some really good games and a bunch of stinkers.

Lopez confounds me. At times he looks unstoppable, at others like he barely cares.

Big game today for gaining ground in the standings:

Grizz @ Hornets
Heat @ Magic
Celtics @ Pistons

2 teams ahead of us have to lose today and the Grizz are looking to rebound after their loss to us vs the Hornets.

anybody else still have ptsd from Lopez dominating us last January?

Hopefully gortat brings his A game today, regardless of how bad the nets have been this year, if he gets punked like last year, it's gonna be a long game for us.

Strained calf? They've been gone for a really long time. Did the Wiz medical team amputate their calves or something????

What is the plural for "calf" when talking about the body part versus the baby animal? Is it still "calves"

I was going to post something similar, the Nets appear to be a good bad team if that makes any sense. I followed their box scores and they were in a lot of games through the 3rd quarter only to lose.

This is a trap game and a half. I hope Wall has a MVP level game because I expect temple oubre and even Duds to come back to earth. It's on the road vs a team that will be underestimated and it's in the afternoon. Yikes.

Why? Dudley was always great except Clippers time when Doc hadn`t got any clue how to use him properly. Besides as I remember He had health problems. Kelly probably come back to earth but I hope not to soon.

I think Temple will fall sooner than Dudley. I`m pesimistic too but I am excited with Oubre and I really hope He will be real deal not like Beal.
