You wouldn't take him with the 26th pick, to pick a random late 20's number?

I'd be happy to take him there.

I think that he can be a very good backup point guard.

Biggest takeaway: Jamal Murray is all hype. He's not good enough to warrant a lottery pick. I prefer both Dunn and Baldwin to him.

This crop of Kentucky prospects is weak (Ulis' good game notwithstanding).

Well Poythress the most mature player on the field, made some excellent in game decisions. Liked the Louisvile big Onuaku as well.

Poythress may be tenured, but he is still a knucklehead.

Yup. And that was evident after his first handful of college games. He's just the third Harrison bro, essentially.

I won't go that far, but he isn't a point guard, and therefore he would have to be looking like a star 2 guard prospect to warrant taking him in the top 5, and he hasn't looked like that.

The season is still young though.

Are you unwilling to call things as you see them?

Aaron Harrison: 5.4 OBPM, 1.5 DBPM, 6.9 BPM
Jamal Murray: 4.4 OBPM, 1.0 DBPM, 5.4 BPM
Andrew Harrison: 2.5 OBPM, 1.0 DBPM, 3.5 BPM

He's right in the middle of the Harrison bro spectrum of underwhelm. Could he get better as the season goes on? Maybe. But that's exactly how he looks right now.

I am, and he has looked bad recently, but I still think that he is a lottery pick.

I think he projects as a better scorer than either of the Harrisons.

I refuse to believe anyone is Harrison Bro tier.
The world can't handle that ****. Those dudes were the first college players I actively hated lol.

But yeah Murray looks extra normal right now. To play any guard spot at the next level you need that burst or be a knock down shooter...he's not doing either at the moment. Still early and him playing well on the world stage gives him an out but still...

we kinda need Brown and/or Murray to turn it on to make the inevitable shanking by Silver come lottery time..not suck as hard.

Accept that we're drafting Dragon Bender with our LAL pick now. Just accept it or hope the LAL pick rolls over to next year

If Kris Dunn is still available at that moment, I would be :banghead:

I probably would now. He does two things very well. He runs a team very well and he doesn't turn the ball over that much. I'll take that as my backup PG. He can also shoot pretty decently.

Hell yeah. At 15? No thanks. At 25-30? No problem.

We need to remember that Murray is a freshman and still prone to making silly freshman mistakes. Also, he reclassified and is younger than most in this current class. Yes, he played like hot garbage this game, but he also dropped 30+ points last game and was the only reason we didn't get throttled by OSU. Conversely, Dominique Hawkins was one of the main reasons we won today and was kicking ass. Should we call him a draft prospect?

If you look at the numbers of Murray in comparison to the Harrison's, then I guess you can draw the comparison; however, Murray is 10x the player of both of them... combined.

What's up with Skal? His plummeting draft stock isn't doing us any favors. Is this guy as bad as his stats look?

I wonder if he ends up staying in school at this point. If he keeps playing like this he should.

He needs to but he won't. Too much pride. His camp will tell him he will go in the lottery. Right now he stinks. Again I have no clue who these recruiting sites are but the fact some of them rated him ahead of Simmons is asinine. How could he be the top recruit? He shows nothing.
