Bobby portis

Buna
We have plenty of wing players on the roster so may be we could look for a trade
With chicago as they are looking for a wing player.
May be oladipo or fournier for portis.
I don t know if skiles prefers fournier or oladipo and if henny plans to resign
Fournier.I think that would give a lot to the pf spot as he has good skills and
pLays with great motor.
If henny believes that portis can be a factor to the magic may be a trade is possible

For the draft next year i looked at some prospects and i am very high on
jakob poeltl from Utah and carice lavert from michigan
Magic din romania

Again with Portis? I prefer keeping Fournier and Oladipo for now. If a better trade comes for one of them I wouldn't mind trading one of them. But Fournier is starting to look like he did at the start of the year again, and Oladipo is too important for us defensively. I hope Dipo starts showing the scoring he was doing at all star break last year.

Just stop it. Fournier/Oladipo for Portis? That's crazy. Their value is much higher than a 22nd pick who has barely played in the NBA. This would make us regress as a team this year. Hell it could knock us out of the play offs.

I watched the Chicago game yesterday, and he looks marginally better than Nicholson to me athletically. AN is a better player than Portis overall. I'd pass.

What about Payton and Vuc for Portis and McDermott?

Port is could play the 5 and that'd free up minutes for Napier.

Napier could shoot all the shots and Port is could foul everyone reaching for the rebounds.

That'd free up minutes for hezonja and Gordon when they both get benched.

WIN!

I suppose that's fair for the Magic. Portis still has a lot of untapped potential, but I truly believe that AN has a lot we haven't seen either. Every game I've seen this season he is just further solidifying how bad JV was as a coach.

I'm not dismissing Portis. I'm just saying as of right now, I haven't seen definitive proof that he puts us over the top or addresses anything we need enough to risk breaking up chemistry and disrupting the system we're only now beginning to catch on with.

Chicago isn't even selling Portis. They have Noah and Gibson on the block for a reason.
