OKC gets 2 high 2nds and saves money and take a flier on Pondexter.

NOP takes a flier on Waiters and dumps Pondexter's deal.

Is Pondexter out for the year? I'd rather have Pondexter than Waiters.

just starting to work up to game speed atm.

Are there still believers in Singler? What a terrible decision that contract was...

I still believe he'll eventually be replacement level again, but what a horrific regression he's had.

His numbers are actually better than they were last year with OKC...[/quote]

I might be looking wrong , but they're not per basketball reference or ESPN , and if you're right then that contract, specially the length is even weirder. He's shooting 25 and 19%.

His advanced numbers are up. His TS is actually improved, WS/48 and BPM too.

Is he that bad? Pacers might give Budinger and Solo Hill for Dion and McGary plus a 2nd.

So take back 2 bad deals and add value? Yeah that's a pass.

Yeah Bayless is a useful 3M expiring for a win now team, that's why I threw him in there. And I guess I would beg to differ on McGary, sure he wasn't Davis untouchable but a lot of Thunder fans scoffed at the notion of moving him.

But overall, I understand your position.

I don't know about "a lot", but I know one in particular. He's the same guy who I'd bet wouldn't trade Dion either (though I haven't seen him in forever). I'd love Bayless tbh, I'd do something around McGary for him.

Well that's Singler, not Waiters. We were talking entirely different .

Aww you just don't want to send Dion to your 2nd fave team that's all. Ok tell you what I was being greedy no need for the 2nd. Solo and Bud are both expiring and you might save a few dollars in salary and tax.

Could definitely be one guy that was just very vocal, because I couldn't point to specific posters, so that could be the case.

Dion is expiring. I might trade him for Bud straight up...maybe.

I'd trade Bud for anything, but Indy would seem to be one of the worst places for Dion. We already have two similar but better players in Ellis and Stuckey and it's hard to keep either of them on the court at times with the new style emphasizing shooting.

For OKC trading Dion for Bud does nothing, though I guess Bud is probably better than Singler at least. But it's likely not worth it if he really is tight with Durant and Westbrook. Letting him walk and get a payday elsewhere is one thing, but trading him for a guy who does nothing for the team might not be a good idea.

Yeah the Pacers don't need Waiters, I might take him to get McGary and then buy out Dion if he started acting up.

I think philly is the next logical step before he inevitably ends up Chinese league perrenial mvp candidate.

Watching him take 15 long 2s per game, complaining about every call, talk trash to the opposition bench. It would be great.
