I would like everyone to look at where the Lakers are. There is a good reason for trading that pick, and that's why.

not a chance, you need to see him play, he is rail thin and is clearly a perimeter player.
Fischella wrote:Draymond has always been a post player, back in HS, at MSU and during his NBA career, never played as a perimeter player, he is a big.
Ingram is a SF, but if he had to change position he is much more suited to play the SG than the PF position.
Again, you need to watch him play, because it is crystal clear when you see how he moves.
Draymond was always big, he was probably arond 260lbs his freshmen year.

As much as the media hype would like you to believe there isn't a unanimous #1 in this draft and Simmons is not a generational talent. His shooting form is an eyesore does not posses a reliable jumper and doesn't have much range to his offensive game. He's an elite rebounder but plays suspect defense. I think his ceiling isn't LBJ but a point forward hybrid between smaller/shorter wingspan Blake Griffin and a more athletic Lamar Odom. I don't see him as an NBA PF and worst case scenario he turns out to be Evan Turner.

how this matters in term of comparing the two? especially when we are talking about style of play
they are not similar at all, if Ingram plays the PF in some lineups in the future he will be a stretch four, not a enforcer, Draymond is a big through and through, when he changes he plays the C, not the SF, he is not a combo forward, he is a versatile big.
Green strenghts are been able to switch onto defending both in the perimeter and the post, there is no chance, 0 that Ingram becomes a post defender against NBA bigs at any point of his career.
Ingram is comparable in some things to Durant, Prince, Kawhi, Giannis etc..., not to Dray.
If you want to check bigs similar to Dray, go to CSwanigan or Robert Carter Jr.
