And of course if Tyson doesn't commit that foul, Knight hits a great shot to put us up by two very late. Great cherry picking of moments to make your point though.
Who cares about one play. It was just an example of how he screws up 50% of the time. He played a horrible game. HORRIBLE. Shot 39% fg. 33% 3 pts. Only 4 assists in 38 minutes with also 3 turnovers. Great assist to turnover ratio right.
Why don't you quote some of the several other posters that said to trade Knight and that he sucks instead of quote me EVERY SINGLE TIME I MAKE A POST.
Hey, I don't like the way Knight plays either and I don't think he should be a PG....as an off guard, I think he is solid, but I don't like his ball handling skills.
If you read any other of my posts today I said I don't like Knight as the primary ball handler which is why Price will need minutes if the goal is still the playoffs.

Utah without Gobert and Favors (starting front court) is probably worst team in the league.

Booker needs to call for the pick on the perimeter, then once he gets 5 millimeters of space from his defender he needs to shoot a 3. Most defenses are not going to let him set his feet and shoot a 3. He needs to learn how to be in charge of getting his own shot.

I'm sure many coming into this season would have also said "Suns without Bledsoe and Markieff easily worst team in league"

He will with time. He just isn't ready yet. It looked like Hornacek set up a play to get him a 3 pt shot late, but he missed. He needs to just get confident in the flow. I think he has more confidence when in the flow and has the juices going. I think starting, he doesn't want to try and do too much (but he should do more). This will come with time.

I believe this is a trait almost impossible to change... but for now it's ok
It'll be very different if he becomes our best player in the future.
I don't think that this is something that necessarily needs to change. Assuming that Booker selects shots based on how good they are, all we need to do is to run better plays that result in better shot opportunities. If we do that, I'm betting that he will naturally take more shots as a result.
He's ok now because he's still a role player... but he's giving to the defense what they want (driving to the hoop and passing to lesser shooters = bad shots)
Obviously he doesnt need to be Mirza and shoot everything... but if he's open... he better shoot the ball.

How the hell did the Cavs have 41 three point attempts tonight? Do we not play any perimeter defense?

I still maintain that we over-rotate on help defense and move too far off of the perimeter shooter. What good does it do to have Knight leave his man on the perimeter and go in the paint and try to help guard LeBron or Love? Knight should stay on the perimeter with Kyrie, hedge a little towards the paint on help defense, but remain able to get back to guard the 3 point shooter.

Preaching to the choir my friend, i've been saying this for a while now. The mantra seems to have been "we suck at defending the 3, so get up closer on your man!". Hence the stupid 4 point plays and the ball handler blowing by the man defender.
This forces the D to sag into the paint (which we're also terrible at).
This leaves other 3 point shooters wide open.
This is why we are so bad at defending the 3. Because we over play it on the initial possession, regardless of who has it.
It's getting better though, but I sure don't agree with Horny telling Booker that he needs to play JR tighter (if that was indeed the case). Second half Book had 2 hands in JR's face and he still knocked it down. Shots like that you really just have to live with.

Overall, I think we played a solid game. I was actually engaged moreso than I have been watching any other Suns game in recent memory.

Suns played hard and could have won the game against one of the top 3 teams in the league.
That's really all you can ask for from this team & if Sarver doesn't see this game as an improvement (he probably won't) he is more a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) than I give him credit for.

Suns were losing to the 76ers even before Bledsoe got injured.
And no, I don't think anyone would think that. We have guys like Knight and Chandler still making more money than anyone on the 76ers so the expectation would be for them to still be better even without those two.

Hope Warren is more confident in his 3p shot now.

Yeah, I almost added the Sixers don't really count into that equation, because it is obvious (so I didn't), but I guess I should have.

Give Quinn Snyder credit, he's done an unbelievable job developing their talent the last couple years.

Yup and just needs to look for his own shot in general.
