This is a lost cause. Sit the starters and bring in the subs.

We're not getting any production from SG, SF, and PF spots.
Gortat is working, but not very efficiently.

We lay one of these stinkers about once every 8-9 games. Stock a team full of streaky, so-so shooters and it's inevitable that 3 or more of them will end up being cold on the same night.

Meanwhile: Jarell Eddie hasn't shown me much on the defensive end tonight.

Some of this plus lack of execution. Jared, Temple, oubre, and sessions I thought all played fairly bad games. Wall had a mediocre game as well.

Fairly unprofessional showing :/

On the bright side at least Porter looked really good. He should be inserted back into the starting lineup. I'd rather he come in for Temple actually, since I think Oubre needs Wall more then Temple does.

True words.

It's a shame though. At home against a Clips team w/o Griffin. I thought this one was pretty winnable.

Porter should start over Oubre again and Temple should not get Beal's max money any more.

Wall and porter got no help. Gortat and Sessions played well but we need more from the other guys, they had an off night. Let's hope we can get back to 500 soon.

Wiz need a PF. Shocker that the need shows most against good teams. Dudley had a -23 in 13 minutes, and Hump did basically nothing in 9. Dud has only been effective coming off the bench - against either backups or starters that are tired. Starting him doesn't work.

Most depressing Wiz game I have been to in some time. The building was full and basically dead the entire game. The crowd tried getting into it when we cut it to 10. The effort sucked. No one got mad and dug in. I was at least pleased to see Sessions give a hard foul on Austin Rivers.

Shameful, unprofessional effort.

It was only a matter of time before the production from Dudley, Temple and Oubre dropped off, too bad all three had it happen at the same time.

What stood out to me however was the level of preparation of the Clippers versus the Wizards.

There were plenty of times when Washington was on offense when the ball swung to a seemingly open player with the defensive rotation arriving exactly where it needed to be slightly ahead of time and Washington players puzzled as to where to go with the ball next.

The Clippers had an answer for everything Washington tried to do on offense, and on the other end the Wizards players were absolutely clueless. It's like they saw the Clippers high pick and roll for the first time and didn't have an answer for it whether it was run by Paul and Jordan, or Prigioni and Aldrich.

They made Aldrich look like **** Tim Duncan out there, absolutely disgusting.

Washington probably didn't have enough offense in them to win this game tonight, but my god, with the way they played defense, they never even gave themselves a chance.

Yeah, I've noticed he isn't the type to get floor burns from diving for loose balls. And he does too many - "I think the opponent probably touched it, so I'm going to let the ball bounce bounce ... bounce out of bounds. Oh... he didn't touch it? My hair still looks good though."

In his defense, I can understand why he'd want to preserve that hair.

Also, Dudley might have had the worst 13 mins of play I have seen in years. 0s across the board except 1 turnover, -22 in +/- if I remember right. I hope he is healthy enough to get back on track.

Symbolically, Dudley was bad while Paul Pierce started off hot as his team blew the Wizards out. The implications are very obvious.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

When 3 of your starters failed to combine for even 10 points through 3 quarters
(I think this is basically accurate)
you gonna have a hard time winning.

Great crowd size-wise. Games like this are the sorts of things that keep the Wizards
from becoming more popular. Strike when the iron is hot. Full house? Play like men possessed.
