One of the hardest games to watch each year due to Harden's ref baiting.

3rd game in 4 days, second of back to back road games. I'd love a win to stay in second going into our 5 day break, but I'm not holding my breath due to the schedule.

Korver just looks bad. As bad as our nonexistent defense.

Korver is just a huge liability nowadays.

What a huge block by Millsap on Howard. What a comeback and win. 4 starters with 20+ points and who can believe Horford went 5-7 from 3? DK what is going on with Korver. If it's mental or if he's injured/fatigued, but this is the worst slump I can ever remember him having.

Huge win!

Utterly impressive. Great strategy in the Hack a Shaq.

Wonderful games by Horford and Bazemore.

Just a wonderful way to end 2015!!!

12/29 Hawks at Rockets

Post#12 » by ATL Boy » Wed Dec 30, 2015 3:40 am

Most impressive win of the year IMO. You talk about playing in Houston, on a third game in four nights, and the second game of a north to south back to back, and then you have the rockets scoring 41 in the first quarter and leading by as many as 16. I thought it was over, that they were gonna just call it a night, but what a rally.

Something's wrong with Kyle though. Went 0-10 tonight and has missed his last 22 3's.

Millsap, Horford and Baze were amazing. Teague's stats are better than what he really did, but he did play well.

Good job cutting out those free runs down the lane like in the first half. Our guards really hung our bigs out to dry.

Good minutes from Walter. Kid is LOST offensively, although he set some solid screens, but he has talent.

Great win. Typical game where you know Millsap will thrive. The Rockets have size, they just don't have determination. Korver has been struggling all season long. At 34, we probably have already seen the best of him. Now, it's all about getting some rest and get ready for 2016. Happy New Year everyone!

I wish the Hawks would fix the 1st quarter blowouts. Good thing that they can work on this for the rest of the season before the playoff starts.

If i was Budz, i would pretend to be upset and treat this like a lose and have the guys study the 1st quarters of the last 5 games.

Hawks really need to fix these 1st quarter blowouts, but all the starters looked good except for Korver who still looks rusty, but i think he can get back to form in 2-3 months.

I'm really glad that the Hawks missed out on James Harden and didn't offer anything for him. I don't know why any Hawks fan a few years ago would want a guy like Harden on the team, he is Joe Johnson 2.0, and I said that when he was in OKC.

Hate to say it but I'd bench Korver for a little while. :/

I guess Kyle and Thabo have "healed" since they are playing b2b's , anyway good they got back in it the 2nd time after Hou went up about 10 or so.

Best win of the season. The confidence they have knowing that they can comeback like that in extenuating circumstances is priceless. Korver will benefit from these 4 day layoff. Bazemore has been awesome this year and our guys are so resilient it's silly. See ya Hawks fans in the New Year. ☺
