I didn't get to see the whole game, only the 4th quarter. Was he playing crap defense on Middleton?

I only had the radio version but I repeatedly heard 'KD lost Middleton' and 'Durant with the late closeout'

Donovan on Cam playing
"Could it have been done sooner? Maybe, maybe not, but I felt like DJ, when he was out there, did a really good job for us." :nonono:

If he thought DJ did well then Dion has job security.

Found something Dion's worse at than playing basketball, via reddit

He's a locker room vet and KD's longtime friend, he isn't going to **** on him publicly.

Been hovering around 10th and I think it's about 7th in games with KD.

Well, it certainly seems like we are moving in the right direction. 7th isn't bad at all. I'll have to see what it is in our last 10 games. We've still got 50 games to go so there's a lot of time and room for improvement.

Yeah, we give up that many points to the Bucks but we also have a much faster paced tempo as do the Bucks. So a game like 125-117 is similar to a 96-89 game when adjusted for pace.

Sorta, but for a while he wasn't guarding him (I think Dion was for a while actually).

Also, Dion Sanders said it best:

Good game tonight guys, your offense is insane.
Russel couldnt be stopped at drives at the end, it felt really unfair.
KD had Giannis on him all night and did struggle a bit but man, he is scoring so casually it impresses me no matter how many times i see him, easily my favorite superstar in the league.

Also, that crossover on Giannis was sick.

Paynes looking good, reward the kid with more minutes and youl get something that you need from bench.

Same to you man, and Middleton was pretty great himself tonight!

The thing is, when we play against great teams our guys are flipping some invisible switch which makes them play insanely good.
Giannis goes berserk mode against KD, Lebron and stars,MCW also plays better .
Middleton tonight did what he is suppose to do,take the ball either of screen or open and shoot and not trying to past like he is doing all year long.

Your defense wasn't that bad but please, dont ever put Dion on Giannis again

Makes it more frustrating that he wasn't given more time sooner. Also hearing how he's already the 1st one in the gym with KD and Russ.

From this article: http://newsok.com/article/5469592

"When asked postgame why Payne wasn't in the lineup sooner, Donovan was diplomatic. He made sure to compliment the leadership of his replaced veteran, D.J. Augustin, and caution to not overreact to one game from a rookie. But it seemed clear the change is here to stay. Donovan called Payne a "jolt" to the second-unit and said "I'm prepared" to allow Payne play through the rookie ups and downs."

Donovan handing over the keys to the second unit to Payne has me feeling some kind of way

I honestly didn't know he was capable of half of that offensively.
