Re: 12/29 Hawks at Rockets
Paul Millsap blocks Trevor Ariza then Dwight Howard to preserve Hawks’ win. Atlanta had just gone up two on a sweet little bank by Al Horford, it was now 117-115 Atlanta over Houston. The Rockets came down looking for the tie — and Paul Millsap said not today my friend. He shut down the driving Trevor Ariza, and when the ball caromed to Dwight Howard Millsap blocked him, too. The Hawks went on to get the 121-115 win.

Re: 12/29 Hawks at Rockets
Crazy, Crackpot, Conspiracy Theory of the day:
With a four day break looming and DS on a recent hot streak...did anyone else find it odd that Coach Bud gave young Dennis the entire game off against HOU?
AJC reports Mack was informed before the game he'd be getting serious burn. Schroder never even bothered lacing up his sneakers.
Was this just an opportunity to get Mack in the game?
Or, could Bud be seeing how effective Mack can be because he's considering taking one of the other PGs out of the rotation? Might Dennis or Teague be on the way out and Bud trying to ascertain whether Mack was prepared to be the primary backup?
It's a longshot. Probably nothing. But just a thought I had...

Maybe schroder was just not given any time because of his poor game against the Pacers.

Well Mack was horrible.
Loved that Dennis was still towel waving and cheering on his teammates.
