I think everyone needs to slow the roll re: trading Knight. Give him some time to prove himself as our starting 1. He's only 23 for cryin out loud. Pair him with Booker, and we could be set.

I've been in favor of trading Bledsoe rather than Knight this whole time. His elevated level of play this season I think would increase his trade value, but now that he's torn his meniscus in both knees - a total of three times - one has to wonder what kind of trade value he has.

Plenty of PFs available in the lotto this year - I'd be shocked if we weren't able to identify the best one available at our slot.

Tucker, Chandler, Morris and Bled are all on my personal trading block.

As a rebuilding team, you have to draft BPA imo. There are limits to that logic, but I don't like going into the draft with a position we have to take. I think we really need to add a young 4 via trade so that it frees up the draft unless a PF we love is for sure going to be there. There are a lot of PF's in this draft in the top 30, so we could always grab one with the Cavs pick.

This is a blow-up tank move that will hopefully set us up for Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram.

Suns trade:
Chandler/Morris/Tucker to NOLA
Suns receive:
Portis/Dunleavy/Bairstow/Asik/Hinrich/Gee

NOLA trade:
Tyreke Evans to CHI, Gee/Asik to PHX
NOLA receive:
Chander/Morris/Tucker

CHI trade:

CHI receive:
Tyreke Evans

Definitely not a bad trade. I would sign off on it.

He has shown that he can be brilliant however I don't think Bledose should be on the trade block unless we really think he will never be healthy again.

I agree. For all the crap Knight and Bledsoe get, they were very effective offensively. And even then, there is still room to grow, which is what you want because it shows the upside. Better shots, fewer turnovers, and more assists tend to happen as players get older.

That said, if we end up being able to get a star big I'd be for it due to positional balance, or if say, we draft Dunn and he ends up proving himself quickly.

I was just listening to Bill Simmons' podcast last week with Joe House. Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet, but Bill said he thinks that Milwaukee doesn't really need Jabari Parker. I was thinking about it.......I think he could be a fit here.

Jabari has not looked good at all since the ACL injury.

Jabari has a lot of talent, but he's underperformed even before the injury. He's far from a sure thing, although I'd be fine taking a flier on him. It would depend on the price. He needs a TON of work defensively imo, and needs to extend his range.

I wonder if we could get a 3 way with Detroit:

Jennings to NYK
Markieff to Detroit
Calderon and 1st round pick to Phoenix, though I'd prefer an expiring, but realistically there's no other way to get the salaries to match with NYK.

No way we get a 1st rounder there. A second rounder or two, maybe.

I want Stanley Johnson back if we're trading Kieff to Detroit. The Pistons have to know that Kieff has more value to them then any other team in the league because of Marcus. I'd be down with giving them Tucker too and even the Cavs 1st rd pick.

I'd love Stanley. Just don't think that would be enough to get him. That said, my dream has always been for Tucker to go to Detroit and then start over Marcus again. He would get so pissed.

Disagree. Knicks will have a late first. Jennings has more value than that to them. We're also taking Calderon for 2 years, buying them the space to get Jennings.

Lol at rookie Jabari Parker not looking good pre injury.
He was leading the rookie of the year along with Wiggins.

Am I the only one noticing shooting skills as being the determining factor as what player looks "good" around here.

Geez... Korver as a rookie would of been everyones dream player.

ACL injuries take a year or two before the player gets back to 100 percent.

If Parker doesnt fit in Bucks at the moment... And is selling low... You take a chance on him ASAP and watch him get better with confidence and time.

He was no doubt in my mind in the running for rookie of the year before he got injured.

Bucks are not shopping Jabari. GTFO thats wishful thinking. There's a better chance of Okafor becoming available because he can't co-exist with Noel. one of them has to eventually go to make room for Embiid

Marcus is the starting SF for the Pistons so even if Markieff were to start there, he would start at PF.

Nah man. I mean Tucker. Because Marcus complained that he should've been starting here. It would be hilarious to me if Tucker went there and Stan started him over Marcus again.

Oh gotcha.

That would be funny if that happened but I think SVG is smarter than Hornacek to know that Marcus is a better player overall than Tucker.

Trade Deadline Countdown....What will we do? What should we do?

Post#440 » by Jdiddy701 » Wed Dec 30, 2015 10:32 pm

I think once Markieff gets traded, he's gonna play his ass off and look like a steal for the team that ends up him. I'm still waiting for him to snap outta of it. I've never seen a players work ethic as great as his in the offseason. Too bad he doesn't want to be here. If only he was a smart player.
