We ain't taking back any long term contract. Every proposal seems to have Calderon coming back out way - that is a non-starter.

There is only 1 player on the knicks I would want on the pistons and they aren't about to trade him.

Anyone willing to tickle James Dolan's feet until he trades us Porzingis?

Afflalo only has a year left after this season at only 8m per, and its a player option so it might end up being an expiring contract.

Jennings for Afflalo works straight up.

Jennings/Baynes for Afflalo/O'Quin works too (though not sure why Knicks would do that). But Jennings for Affalo/Quin also works if they are desparate for BJ but don't want Baynes salary.

O'Quin has a longterm deal but its a good one. 4 yrs at only 3.7m per.

Afflalo is the guy to get though off their roster. He basically gives you KCPs defense + efficient offense. He is exactly what we need at SG.

Seriously doubt they could put together a package that would entice us. IF we trade Jennings it's for an impact player. Not going to waste cap space on a marginal player and I still believe that once he's back in form he'll have a pretty substantial impact on our team. But for **** and giggles...

Detroit Out: Jennings
Detroit In: Markieff and Langston Galloway

NY Out: Calderon & Galloway
NY In: Jennings

Phx Out: Markieff
Phx In: Calderon

Only chance we have to move Baynes is to Atlanta should they lose Horford this off-season as he's a San Antonio systems guy and ATL runs that so he could earn his money there. Otherwise he's here for two more years.

3 way trades are always a possibility, I suppose. I can't remember if there are some restrictions now on multi-player trades.

while i like this trade, i feel like we could do better. Kieffs value is at a low and some risk.Galloway is nice pick up but is it worth jennings? I'd almost rather have AA straight up. I was hoping there was a center we could add to replace Baynes but NY nor PHX has anything enticing.

I kind of like the idea of Dinwiddie for Plumlee(Milwakee)

As much as I figure that Jennings is gone in the off-season, I would rather take my chances with him on the roster then trading him to Knicks. I don't mind trading him, I just don't see anything on the Knicks worth taking that they would offer for him.

I really doubt the Knicks would be interested in trading anything with value for Jennings. If the offer is just about anything involving Calderon and a minor asset there's a serious risk of Van Gundy laughing his *** off and hurting himself. I don't like it.

I really wanted to find some way to dump Meeks and include AA instead of Galloway but I couldn't make it work. The Knicks are essentially in the same spot as us; trying to upgrade in order to make a playoff run so even if the value is semi-close they are just robbing Peter to pay Paul. It seems like Phx should be able to help facilitate since they should be in tank mode, but the salaries just don't wanna work for me. Ah well.

Jennings for Afflalo works great for us. I'd love to have him on our team
