True, but we don't need the added responsibility of getting his confidence back up and selling him on a bench role for a championship. I mean, if we can get him pretty cheap, I'd do it, but I don't see that move happening. Maybe you could give me some details on how we could pull that off?

Him being bought out and us signing him for the minimum.

Serious question: What incentive does BKN have to do that?

Presti should make a move soon. Let the new guys (I'm hoping for Lee, Allen, Martin, Tucker or Johnson) and Payne get comfortbale with some easy games. Perfect time to grow as a group.

I agree. PJT, Lee, I'll trade in a heart beat. I'm not sure if Grizzles are willing to give up Lee.

Adams usage down to 8% has coincided with the starters playing inefficiently, and more iso ball. The starters dominate when adams usage is around 12%. This isn't necessarily about Adams or what he can or cant do but about less ball movement by the starters over the past couple of games. With the bench unit looking better the starters need to get back to moving the ball.

We'd have to release somebody. Could do it to Novak, but I don't really see that happening.

I'd say the offense was fine last night. The starters have been fine, not every game will be perfect on either end.

i think the most difficult game will be at charlotte (despite jefferson missing 6 weeks). Lamb will go off and put 3 after 3 in waiters's face :( They are playing great offensively and our defense has been really struggling.
I think less than 12-3 would be REALLY bad, 13-2 pretty average and 14-1 (or 15-0, who knows) should be the goal if we want to keep fighting for second seed. We already lost some bad games at home against averages teams. We can't afford to lose more than that with that schedule being so easy. Spurs are rolling against bad opponents and no disrespect to their beautiful team but they should lose at least 3-4 games during that time ( 2 games against cavs and rockets, @GSW and some not ''easy win'' road games).

I think the most difficult game will definitely be home vs. DAL after a 3-game road trip. DAL is a savvy team with a savvy coach that can exploit weaknesses well.

I respect Dallas a lot and their coach even more, but i think they should be more tired than us with their cleveland game the night before (despite a LAL-POR-MIN trip). But hey, maybe you are right and i'm overrating our team right now. They really showed us that there's no easy games anymore.
I really hope they focus more ( especially on defense) to win every single game because i think the difference between the 3rd and the 2nd seed this year is HUGE and will be the key to get a shot to win it all (or not)

Just for you and for a limited time only, we can add a shiny, as good as new, barely used, Rookie of the Year 2013/2014 in the mix and shake hands for this trade :

You chose a very misleading stat. While OKC is clearly the best rebounding team on the offensive end, our defensive rebounding has flat out sucked over the last few weeks. We're 27th in DRB% for December - that's really bad. Defensive rebounding has really hurt us lately. Ibaka, Adams and Collison haven been rebounding very bad on the defensive end this year - they only get 2 out of 3 possible defensive rebounds (adjusted for those deferred to teammates). Durant and Ibaka get well above 80% of those.
If you look at all players with at least 100 DRB so far, Ibaka and Adams can be found at the very end - the only players worse than those two are Milsap, Robin Lopez, Ersan Ilyasova, Clint Capela, Kosta Koufos, Jerami Grant, Roy Hibbert and Kyle Korver. That's not good.

I hate this. We can lose any to every single one of those teams on any given night, and 8 of the 'wins' are away games.

Yep. They just had to outscore a bad Bucks team 2 nights ago and gave up over 120. I wouldn't be surprised if they split these games, and they're due to cough up a bad one too. They haven't played well as a team in a while, and are winning off sheer talent, I don't really feel good about tonight vs. a Suns team I think will be a little mad.
