Do you guys know how bad Westbrook, Harden, and Curry were all at 24? No you don't, exactly!

I'm not a huge fan of Knight, but AtheJ415 was saying those are the only three players who had done what he did at 24. He wasn't saying he was as good as them. But those are the only three who were better. Knight is just really inconsistent and makes bonehead plays. But guess what, Westbrook and Harden make bonehead plays too. Curry, probably rare because he seems to have a really high bbiq.

I don't want to totally give up on Knight, but by my recent posts you can see I'm far from sold on that trade and how good he can be, but he certainly has the potential to be good.

I am not sure how many players refocused, and changed their approach to how they play after 5 years in the league, deciding what they are good at, bad at and ways they can improve their game. I imagine many try to, but it doesn't seem like Knight has done that, and I really hope he does.

Was there a fight at the end of the game?

Fitting for this game since all the workers standing there are wearing OKC colors.

The low point of that trade was selling really low on IT.
But guess what... people here hated him in every game he played.

people hated on ish non stop and now want him back.

so i'm little lost here.

It seems that on most nights it takes him almost the same number of shots to get his average scoring output. Its hard to revert from being a habitual chucker. I don't know whether Horny is giving him the green light but he just looks like a deer in the headlights. and He's gunna eventually have to accept being relegated to a 6th man when Booker inevitably supplants him. And he would be too expensive to reatain in that role when he's paid the money of a fringe All-Star starter. I hope we can move him before he drives down his value too much

Since there are really no pass first point guards in the league anymore outside of Paul, Rondo, and Rubio (he is not a good player though so far in his career), how many people would be down with trading Knight and Bledsoe sometime between now and the draft and going after Mike Conley. He is really underrated and I always liked him a lot. Just entered his prime.

It's the revisionist history. 20/20 is hindsight and there's about 5 people here that like to remind us of that every opportunity they get.

I dont recall anyone hating Ish. He was one of the most exciting players to watch while he was here. Pure energy, but the best part about Ish was he knew his role and knew his limitations.

Loving the play from the young ones. Booker showing greats signs too

If we are truly stuck with Knight, and the trend continues to be going small, we could just start Bledsoe, Knight, Booker, Warren and Len, which would give us super floor spreading abilities and then we just tell the team you cannot hold the ball for more than 3 seconds after dribbling it down the floor. Drive, pass, or shoot immediately.

But if we do get Jones and he pans out, we just need to move Knight to 6th man. He can play plenty of minutes but cannot be a dominant ball handler if he wants to get minutes.

I am totally fine with the Thomas trade. I wanted him off the team. 5'9" point guard that thinks he is Michael Jordan. Trading him for anything you could get is fine. Signing him in the first place is what I could not believe. Still one of the most bewildering signings I have ever seen.

lol

This from the guy who a couple months ago was trolling Bucks fans about the Knight trade, bragging about Knight in every thread he could get his hands on. It's one extreme or the other for you, either extreme pessimism or puffing your chest out in obnoxious bragging.

He is unrestricted and I think plenty of teams will be after him. It will take a max offer to get his attention. It all depends on if the Grizzlies are willing to do the mega hometown max and/or if he wants to leave the team.
