Oh yea, wow, Barea is shooting 52% FG / 62% 3PT in his last 9 games. 39% FG / 23% 3PT before that, talk about catching fire. Hey, maybe Austin will catch fire too, that would be nice.
Okay, well at least we know that Austin is here to say, but I'm just happy that Pablo is playing with him and Jamal now and he's really gotten that unit more organized. For someone who was prevously a playmaking PG in his career, Doc has had too much faith in guys like Austin and Jamal to be able to direct anything in the realm of an effective offense, especially since they've never really showed themselves as those kind of players.
Jarrett Jack still remains a logical option for the Clippers in place of the older Pablo and Jamal. He's a guy you can pair with Austin so that Austin can be the SG, not PG, but can't see a way to convince Brooklyn of that one with the lack of PG's. Actually I forgot about Larkin, so maybe it's not so bad for them. Jack for Crawford would save them money and works for both teams straight up.
EDIT: Here's the thought I came up with ---
Jarrett Jack to LAC
Brandon Jennings to BRK
Jamal Crawford + Wayne Ellington to DET
Maybe teams send 2nd round picks to Detroit? Detroit is trying to get a creator and more shooting off the bench, since they lost Meeks for a couple of months. Brooklyn obviously getting the younger PG who they could attempt to re-sign if he plays well for them. Obviously we know why for the Clippers. Detroit is the one I'm not sure about here, not sure what they would be wanting for Jennings, but they could likely get a bit more.
Clippers could also do:
Jamal + Wilcox for Jack, not like Wilcox plays, right? Maybe try and swap a second for one of their wings, obviously not Jefferson though.
Have no clue...
