Anyone notice that the Cavs took a pounding by Portland tonight? Beat by 29 points. Must be carryover after last nights loss. So don't tell me that that loss was meaningless.

HA, ya I saw that. It's funny, we go on a 7 game road trip banged up and tough out some wins against hungry, talented teams, but Cleveland gives us everything they have in a loss then immediately breaks down like Kyrie's ankle, right shoulder, hand, index finer, fractured jaw, hyperextended knee, left shoulder, right nasal fracture or bruised knee (all real injuries he's had in his short career...).
At what point do tell it like it is and declare Kyrie a slightly healthier Grant Hill?

I'd say he's a less healthy Dana Barros.

I'd call him a fosters can. Because he's a piss-poor Aussie import that tricked his way into millions of American homes nationwide.

Re: Around the NBA III
Just watched the Philly V Lakers game, here are 3 observations.
1. DeAngelo Williams sucks. He'll be lucky to have a career as a backup PG.
2. Nerlons Noel is sick, but he needs a proper coach and mentor that can get the best out of him. That person should be Draymond....
3. Robert Covington, WANT. He's really good.

Been less than a season and Kobe has been hogging the FGAs.
So let's give him a year from now before passing judgment.

Not exactly around the NBA. Figured some of you guys would enjoy the read too. This tells you a little of why Draymond plays how he does and where he got it from. Dude has everything to become GREAT

Anyone notice Whiteside with 11 blocks Miami's last game? We may have dodged a bullet when we played them.

Re: Around the NBA III
Lol at Josh Smith being traded back to the Rockets.
I'd bet Doc thought his ego could handle coaching him and Lance Stevenson only to realize that those guys are bat ish crazy.....he's probably burning the phone lines trying to deal Lance now.

Re: Around the NBA III
I would not automatically assume the Clippers will be an easy out in the playoffs.
Paul and Griffith are capable of having a hot series and Reddick seems to have raised his level of play. Now they're getting good minutes from Aldrich, Mbah a Moute and W. Johnson.
