Booker has a great opportunity moving forward. Hopefully he can capitalize on it.

I think he has and will continue to do so. Him and Warren already look like the best players on the team at times. I can't see him being sat much for Weems or Goodwin.

I'm glad Hornacek is giving the youngest guy in the league so many minutes.

And please don't compare him to the great Klay who stunk it up two days ago without Curry, I want him to be good independent of the greatest shooter ever.

Devin Booker Needs To Seize Opportunity

Booker needs to do exactly what he had been doing. Play smart, do not force things, let the game come to him, set up teammates, shoot when open.

If he starts forcing thing to take advantage he will end up becoming another Brandon Knight with his shot selection.

The best thing about this performance was the efficiency, shooting a blistering 60% from the field to go along with 4 steals and 3 assists. DBook is proving that he can put the ball on the deck and get to the charity stripe at a good rate. The next step in his evolution as a elite scorer will be beating defenders off the bounce.

Well that was enjoyable to watch. He moves like a cat. I am not talking about the quickness, although he is that too. His feet hit the floor softly. There is no bouncing or jarring in his gait. I would think that would be better for his joints in the long reaun.

21 points on 10 shots, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 fouls. Now that is an efficient game.

I liked seeing him given some PG responsibility, was the first ball handler a few times and drove to the rim, posted up and showed his all round offense, no worries at all about him having enough weapons, apart from his outside shooting. In his prime I see him as an 18 PPG player with possible upside from there, which is more than a Redick or Korver.

Still a heap to work on defensively, same as Warren.

He needs to just SHOOT.

I get he's passive and worried about losing minutes or having a short-leash, but his coach needs to see the talent in him at just 19yr old.

Look at Klay's rookie year when he was 21, his first 34 games until basically he got 'it' he SUCKED, then he was given a larger role with consistent minutes and opportunities. The team was just 9-23 in that second 32 game stretch! Incidentally the Warriors were without their best PG -- one Steph Curry -- for the rest of the season, hence Klay getting the massive boost in minutes.

First 34 (rookie Klay):

Last 32 (rookie Klay)

Then look at Booker's first 31 games, with some DNP-CDs and a handful of true opportunities. I want to see him getting 30min EVERY night with 12+ FGA EVERY night. He needs to take threes, hell I don't care if they're contested.

We need a new coach who will give Booker a consistent opportunity. No idea how he played 20 minutes last night. Inexcusable.

All I really want are the starter minutes for Warren and Booker. Don't giva a .... if Suns will win or lose games.
