I ran into this little tidbit in a Matt Maiocco piece.

A source indicated to CSNBayArea.com recently that Baalke was not inclined to select Cal quarterback Jared Goff or Memphis’ Paxton Lynch with a high first-round pick. Now, it only figures the new coach’s opinion will be the only voice that matters when it comes to evaluating the game’s most-important position.

To be fair I joke about Baalke drafting Ramsey because hes a safety... But he is a generational player at corner or safety but the Niners have much bigger needs. Ramsey is going to be and absolute stud. But Hes not the player we need with a first with so many holes on the team. Him and Heargreaves will be shutdown in the NFL

If the Browns find someone with half a brain the Goff to the Niners talk will be dead after the second pick in the draft. Goff is the best quarterback in the draft. Lynch and Cook are close seconds but neither are as good as Goff... Cook is probably a little better but Lynch has more potential in my opinion but he also could be a bust. To me he is the high risk pick. He could be Steve Young Good or More limited than Kaep bad.
