CLEVELAND AND TORONTO MOVE PICKS
CLEVELAND WILL SEND THE 2ND OVERALL PICK - RIGHTS TO BRANDON INGRAM; TO
TORONTO FOR THE RIGHTS TO PICK #3 DRAGAN BENDER AND THE #10 PICK - BUDDY HEILD
In addition - The Raptors will receive the 1st available 1st round pick that Cleveland has - if not before - Cleveland conveys their 2020 1st with no protection.
Cavs accept - we are bulliog future dept with existing wings in place (Hayward and Gallinari). The chance to get 2 lotto guys with great upside just made sense. Great dealing DameCurry.
Raps accept. Easy trade for us, I am high on Bender but to me this is a two man draft and I couldn't get the 1st one from scott so I took the 2nd. Ingram has the most upside in this draft, a body and skillset that maybe doesn't merit a KD comparision but is not too far off rom that. I didn't really want anybody at 10 and I get a future pick that might be high to make up for dealing it. Just made sense for me, good dealing scott.

Cleveland and Detroit move Young Bigs
The Cavs have agree to send Dragan Bender(#3 pick.. $3,952,500 .. $4,130,400 .. $4,308,300 .. 26.4% .. 31.2%; to
Detroit for Mitch McGary .... $1,526,040 .. $2,430,982 .. $3,503,045
The Cavs accept this deal - as we are always suspect of European Big Men who often bring a skill set that does not mesh with the NBA style of play. Bender is no exception - with highly touted handles and passing skills, he has not developed his perimeter game and is too light to bang in the post. Cavs remember McGarys run in the NCAA tournament where he showcased great skills, range and the ability to facilitate for his teammates. Draftnet likened him to Bill Lambier (I know most of you guys don't remember the bad boys) and ESPN said:
McGary plays like a bull in a china shop in the best possible sense. He's a frenzy of activity on the court, as if he just finished downing an energy drink, and his strength allows him to clear space. Having spent a lot of time in the high post at Michigan, McGary played closer to the basket in the NBA. Naturally left-handed, McGary also has a good right hand and used upfakes to create openings to shoot. He ended up making a strong 68.5 percent of his shots inside three feet, according to Basketball-Reference.com.
Cleveland is looking for immediate results and like what we believe Mitch will bring with this opportunity.
Accept. Detroit hasn't taken a chance on a true lotto ticket since Darko. (Unless Drummond counts?) we feel McGary has a fairly set ceiling and want to take the chance here.
Bender in an interview said he has been modeling his game after Dirk, how can you go wrong with that??

Oklahoma City Announce Deal with Detroit
The Thunder will send Khris Middleton ... $15,200,000 .. $14,100,000 .. $13,000,000 .. $13,000,000; to
The Pistons for D'Angelo Russell .... $5,332,800 .. 5,562,360 .. $7,019,698 .. $9,160,000
Thunder Accept - Russell will look to share time between the 1 and 2 spots and OKC feels he has a much higher ceiling than Khris long term. The major bonus in the deal is that it will allow the Thunder to clear cap space so they will have room to match a Max offer to Andre Drummond and gives them a backcourt / frontcourt combo that will terrorize the Association for the next decade.
Detroit is at $47M and can easily absorb the salary difference. Great Dealing Timmay - good luck.
Accept. We decided we made a mistake trading Khris so we wanted him back lol. He fits perfectly in between MCW and PG

Pelicans accept. We get older with this deal and we like Jordan and Evans but it just wasn't the correct fit. We needed more shooting and spacing on offense and Horford and Korver provide that. This will also allow us to move Cousins back to center and Horford can play PF. Good dealing HFW!

Jazz accept, we get a elite wing defender in MKG and great backup in Biyombo. We also get a stead guard in Cojo. Good dealing!!
Raptors accept. Hezonja is clearly the prize in this but I've always been a huge Exum proponent and that hasn't changed just cause of the injury, I still think he could be a fantastic player in this league in time, he's still only 20! We also turn Bismack into a better version of himself on a reasonable deal and get (another) 1st for this year, I think we might be at 6 now?! haha. Never been attached to anyone I give up except MKG and this is just too much value not to deal him.

Bucks accept. In all honesty I would probably flip batum for millsap because I love Paul, by metrics he's a top 10 player in the league and I just think he plays winning basketball. But this makes me unbalanced and means I need to find a starting wing again so Immortalone, as a reasonable guy, was willing to provide some incentive and made it too good to not do. Nice dealing again man!
Accepted. Suns are ecstatic to have Batum. The French connection with Tony Parker will payoff in the playoffs. Good deal!

Deal works money wise. The Thunder have tremendous talent and need a bonified leader to take them deep into the playoffs and start what will be a long term window in which they will contend. Mike Conley is that leader. Great Dealing Roberto. Good Luck
That 2018 Memphis second is owned by Miami (I got it from OKC who got it if their 2016 MEMPHIS second wasn't conveyed - which it wasn't.) I then traded that pick to Miami.
Just a friendly heads up - you might want to change the pick
We'll just make it a 2019 2nd. If Scott's cool with that.
Overall I accept this deal. Most of the offers I got for Conley weren't even close in terms of value. Since I haven't really been able to gain a lot of traction on trades overall, I was basically looking for one player in any offer that I can pin my hopes to.
That player for me is Mudiay. I think he's going to be a special player in this league and really made this trade for me. Good dealing Scott.
