I think we have to give the Warriors the edge over the Spurs. It would be an amazing series to watch, but if Curry plays like he is now into the playoffs i can't see anyone beating them. The Cavs of course will be in the mix if fully healthy...Okc is a huge threat, but both Kd and Westbrook would both need to play at a monster level for them to win it all, as it stands now i don't see how they would be the best though. No one else is worth mentioning.

when healthy I still think its the Warriors. I know the Spurs have the point differential and the defense and are legit great themselves, but the Warriors have the best player in the world, another top 10 guy in Draymond, perfectly fitting supporting cast with lots of flexibility and a system that takes advantage of what they have. I think their offense against the entire league leads to more wins than the Spurs defense against the entire league. And I can't see any team outside of San Antonio taking 4 out of 7 from them.

But really this whole season already feels like just a lead up to their eventual clash in the WCF. That potential series just overshadows anything.

With the Warriors getting healthy again I think it's them. But the Spurs are ridiculous too. In most years OKC/CLE would be considered favorites/co-favorites, but they're on the outside looking in so far.

Either the Warriors or the Spurs, no one else has an argument right now.

Currently, I think the Spurs are in the best form of all teams (the Warriors have sustained some key injuries which threw them off compared to how dominant they were early).

I voted for the Warriors purely because I think they might be better at full strength (+they have Curry + they have a better record) but thinking what the Spurs might be at their full strength (a better/more comfortable LMA, useful Green and possible increased minutes for Duncan/Ginobili/Parker in the postseason if need be), oh boy...

Those two teams definitely are headed on a collision course with one another. Can't wait until their first meeting.

GSW/SAS are the measuring sticks and if all pans out the WCF should be insane.

CLE/OKC are in the mix, with Cavs being slightly superior imo. No other teams right now I could realistically see keeping up with GSW/SAS in a series.

Right now, the team with the 32-2 record.

At the end of the season? Who knows? We are in for an epic showdown in the WCF.

Chuck is right. GSW....and part of it is Luck.. found the FORMULA for winning ball in 2015/16. The Spurs... have been their top worry. GSW , in large part....took Spurs game, Phil Jackson game and a vision to go beyond. No GSW hardcore fan started last year expecting more than a 3-4 seed. Probably Spurs fans are surprised the Duncan/Manu/Parker trio is still real good and Kawhi became a star. It is....what it is. My take......if GSW remains top seed and almost unbeatable at home...it tilts any matchup series. At THIS point (or any point) a slump or injury can be big. However....If we are forecasting....GSW is doing SUPER and the Spurs and Cavs seem the teams able to compete. GSW.....is winning about 95%.....only lost road games minus starters...so?
CENSORED... No comment.

Warriors have basically become “appointment television” for me, so i’ve watched them a lot more than the spurs this year. Will have to remedy that when I get some more time. Kinda fascinated by san an’s shift back to a slow paced team, yet still near the top of the league offensively. Not taking a ton of 3s anymore, but still hitting at a high percentage when they do. So yeah, voted for GSW, but consider them and SAS a level above the rest.

Warriors - 1st in offense, 7th in defense, 10.52 SRS

Spurs - 3rd in offense, 1st in defense, 12.13 SRS

The Warriors are just another team without Curry. But if everyone is healthy they are definitely the best team in the NBA still.

Why no Chicago? We beat San Antonio, Cleveland and OKC. We lost to G.S only because Rose didn't play.

Because you suck.

seriously, why all post-MJ good Bulls teams are so overrated?

Yes but the Bulls lost to the Timberwolves(with HCA!!!!!). So obviously Minnesota is better than Chicago.

And with their last win over the Wolves, that leaves the Sixers as the best team in the league!

Same reason most Knicks teams get overrated. Big market media...

And he doesn't really man that though. Maybe you forget now but he was arguing for Rose and Gasol as top 10 players in the league in a few threads last year .

And the Sixers lost to the Heat a few weeks ago which means Miami is the best team and Wade is the best player in the league for now.

Warriors. They're doing what they're doing with a starter missing. Crazy. Spurs are fantastic as well, don't think anyone else is at their level yet. Cavs might get there later on.
