that possession seemed destined to fail. dj coughed up a rebound, eventually recovered, threw it right into cp3's face and we almost lost the ball again right there.

and that's not even counting that the shot was a complete bailout. we are very fortunate to have cp3 on this team.

I want to be happy for that nice shot, but there's still plenty of time left.

even though this ft thing is a scummy strategy it's pretty damn smart.

really hope the league can pull its head out of its ass and realize that the foul game is completely idiotic.

The Clippers have been 25-13 at this point in the season for the past 3 years.

i really thought it would be much higher than this considering paul averaged around 22 and 11 for 2 seasons in New Orleans and 19 and 10 the last two seasons... plus multiple other seasons of high teens scoring and close to double digit assists

Elite Against The Lottery

Post#71 » by Wammy Giveaway » Mon Jan 11, 2016 12:39 am

Clippers are now 20-2 against lottery teams (teams who are out of the playoff race).

However, their elite record has changed...

Against elite teams, Clippers are NOW 0-6 against teams seeded 1st through 3rd in each conference. Those teams: Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, Cavaliers, Bulls, Raptors. And look at this: one of those losses contains a Griffin ejection.

On a similar note, since Doc Rivers took over, Clippers are 1-3 in games where any of the Big 3 is ejected from a game. 0-3 when Griffin is ejected. 1-0 when Jordan is ejected.

Clippers have proven they are capable of winning when Griffin is out to injury. They have yet to win a game where Griffin is unexpectedly thrown out of a game.

Was Bill Simmons at the game?
Did we need him?

Just asking for clarification.

Hey everyone, sorry for the long absense. Had plenty to deal with when I was out in Cali. I honestly didn't see this streak coming but I figured that we'd play better given ouur recent opponents. Hopefully this streak gives us confidence to beat the better teams.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Exactly the same record we had this day a year ago. We had the 3rd best offense and 17th defense then, we have the 5th best offense and the 10th best defense now.

Apparently this season is not the end of the world after all.

I believe they are heading in the right direction. the second unit is still a work in progress but with cole and a real pg they are getting better. I am glad to see jj doing great and cris paul is just solid. if dj would commit to playing the whole game then we would have a great chance. doc has to be better late in close games. we have lost to the better teams when we had a lead because of a poor plan. that is on him.
