Yeah Boston is a bunch of average players who are coached well and play hard. I think Boston is going to continue to develop their players and would have to bank on their assets to get an impact player. They're not bad enough to draft a star and not good enough to compete for a ring. I think they're giving the coach time and just trying to accumulate assets. Sooner or later a trade will open up for them. Ainge is a pretty good GM but I think it'll be hard to get a Kevin Garnett trade again. They had Pierce and Al Jefferson who were also drafted. So it's a wait and see for them at the draft.

Our win over Brooklyn was the straw that broke the camel's back, got the coach and GM fired. How Billy King held onto a job that long was beyond logical reasoning though. That guy was turrible.
Hollins walked into a bad situation. A badly aging team, where guys were counting down their days until they could get out of there.

Ainge is doing a rebuild right, as much as I don't like the Celtics. They have Brad Stevens who is so impressive by getting the guys (who are questionable starters to begin with) to play actual team ball. Stevens somehow got Evan Turner look serviceable after his implosion on the Pacers trade. He's a real coach, not some of these retreads around the league.
Hell, they even made the playoffs and gave the Cavs a hard time too.

1.) That's probably the first time since portland where RJ looked like the RJ of last year. Not only scoring but finding the passing lanes
2.) RJ 3 point stroke looked so much cleaner this game and he was getting it off quick. Allowing him not to have to fade as much. He seems to be getting more comfortable and the fact his % is up is encouraging
3.) 3:27

There only hope is clearing bad contracts off the books and using all that cap space to land 2 or 3 really good FA's this year while also bringing in a great NBA coach. If not, Boston is really really going to be good in 3 or 4 years.
What are you basing Brooklyn as a destination city on? What history suggests this?

Oh wow I spoke too soon. Ainge is a genius. He has the Nets' first and second round draft picks for 3 years straight 2016-2018. Boston just got their stars. Nets managements screwed that organization up for the next 3 years. The owner probably wants to sell it now and Billy King needs to get fired. How does he still have a job?

King has resigned which is basically fired in the NBA world anyways. And it really is crazy how bad the Nets are for the next 3-4 years. They literally can't do anything. Prokhorov was always in it to use the Nets as an investment tool anyways, so he'll probably sell soon. Since the insane Clippers sale, you can bet the Nets will be around that price.

Brooklyn hasn't had capspace since moving to Brooklyn because they traded for Joe johnson Paul pierce and KG so there us no evidence they would be a preferred destination buy I would consider them to not be much different than NYC as far as location goes. They are a large market team in one of the best and biggest cities in the world. If they put the right GM and coach into place and clear the books most free agents would prefer them over cities like Detroit, Chicago, Etc. Based on city alone.
