Just read somewhere that we could be offing Tobias, Oladipo PLUS a 1st.

I would quit watching basketball as a whole if this happened.

lol
I highly doubt.
and I stick to this
The Magic have a role for Oladipo. He’ll be their sixth man this year and they’ll look at things in the offseason. For those that believe Oladipo is somehow obtainable in trade, he really is not. It would take a monster of a transaction to get Orlando to even seriously talk about it.

This is the sort of deal the Magic may need to make to move to the next level - trading a young asset or two for an established star.

Having said that, Melo is not the right established star to trade for.

Thanks, that makes me feel somewhat at ease but in reality even at this stage of Melo's career any trade involving him would be considered a "monster of a transaction".

It's almost too quiet before the deadline...

The calm before the perfect storm. I have a big feeling that a plethora of teams will be making some moves between Jan 15th until the deadline in mid Feb.

somehow I ve got the feeling it will be rather quiet trade deadline.
Anyway are there any dominos to fall this year? Each year seems like every team is waiting till this ot that guy situation will resolve and in the end there arent many moves.
Guess Morris and Jennings but hardly they are game changers.

I don't see the Magic going for any type of trade deals. Skiles likes consistency and trading away a Tobias after one season under his belt I doubt he'll let in any type of controversy break the chemistry he's trying to build.

I see the magic going all In For a free agent this off season. I'm thinking magic might go after a player that has a lot of upside but it being over shadowed, good charecter, stretch 4 that can hit the trey but yet get on the boards and have a defensive presence. Harrison Barnes screams all of these qualities.
