D-League prospects

Post#1 » by KingKyrie1 » Mon Jan 11, 2016 9:10 pm

Hello, because of Mozgov regression I have been looking at different alternatives,
At C 7'2 Jordan Bachynski he is 26, he averaged 5.2 blocks in college per 40 and now averaging 4 blocks per 36 in the d-league.
He has good instincts on D and I believe he can contribute.

Raphiael Putney is an intriguing player, 6'10 with incredibly long limbs, very quick for his size but extremely skinny.
He averages 20 points 10 rebs 2 ast 1 stl 3.1 blks per game on 35 mins,he is a 40% 3pt shooter on 7.6 attempts per game

Both can help us at our most needed spots.

Mozgov hasn't regressed to the point where you should be looking at D League prospects.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Meh, Whiteside was a d-leaguer, I don't care where they are from,
There are tons of players that figured their **** later in their career.

No there isn't. There's Whiteside and then there is all the other players who weren't talented enough to figure it out. Kaun, AV and Mozgov would all wreck the D League if we sent them down.

Gotta remember that Luke Harangody was a double double machine in the D league.

I'd give up quite a bit to pry Clint Capela from Daryl Moreys fingers. Maybe the idea of having Mozgov and Dwight both expiring would tickle his weird need for roster flexibility.
