Game 38: Spurs (33-6) @ Pistons (21-16) | Jan. 12th 7:30 PM EST

I gave the spurs an extra win because i give the nets about 0.5% chance of beating the spurs.

i've been looking forward to this game for a while, i really think that the spurs are the best team in the league (or at least right on par with the warriors).

i expect to see danny green on reggie for stretches and it'll be interesting to see how ilyasova does with aldridge and west.

What I don't understand is how Vegas has this game at even. Must be the b2b factor.

It's a back-to-back for the Spurs and we're home. I think they're going to play against an amped up Nets roster tonight considering their coach just got fired. Here's to hoping the Nets make the Spurs tired. I actually believe we have a good shot at winning this game. I think we'll go 2-2 in the next 4 games.

I wonder who Pops plans on resting against us.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

if the beat brooklyn as badly as i'm expecting them to they should be able to limit minutes tonight so they may play tomorrow.

What matters at the end of the day is how they do vs contenders.

GSW is 1-0
Cavs 1-1
OKC 1-1
Detroit ????? 8-)

hate that team, hate the idea we're gonna lose tonight.

Spurs are always tough. They get the benefit of being a perennial power. I watched a good part of their game against the Nets last night and the Spurs were getting calls like they were the home team. Let's hope the Pistons are amped up for this one.

We win and we jump to the 5th seed. The east is hilarious in that with each win or lose you're a threat to move up or down in the standings.

This will be the biggest test outside of playing the Warriors or the Cavs. Will be extremely hard to beat a team whose chemistry goes back 6-8 years from its core players. Pistons will have to play their best to pull one out. I have a strong feeling about this one being a close game.

I`d be happy with a competitive loss. Spurs are on another level completely.

Morris still questionnable (knee tendinitis).
It's also the second game of a back-to-back for the Spurs, they won it easy yesterday, but they could still use another starting lineup.

Predicting another game winner but this time instead of Jennings it will be Reggie.
