Being okay with how we are playing right now is like purchasing a brand new 2016 Ford Mustang (Limited Edition) and being okay with it driving like a Volkswagen Beetle.

This game is Enes Kanter in a nutshell. 8/10 with 18 points and -8 +/-, wonder how long Donovan sticks with him.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Except we aren't a 2016 Mustang LE, we're a 2014 Nissan Altima.

That's not even fair to say about Kanter this game. Kanter has not really been the issue this game. There has been bad defense by Waiters, Morrow, Collison, Durant and a lot of the other guys who have been playing on or with the second unit tonight. That's not to mention the awful shot selection.

KD needs a Lebron 2 week mini vacation.

It's absolutely fair to say about Kanter, he provides zero interior defense. Other people playing poorly doesn't excuse his defensive suckitude.

It's really difficult to feel any kind of good about that win. A 39 point second half and, until the last 90 seconds of the half, we looked terrible the entire second half. About as bad as we've looked all season.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

He took 25 shots, the problem was never how much he was shooting, it was how much he wasn't making. He has always been a 16-18 shots per night guy, but it feels like he doesn't get to the ft line with near the consistency he did in previous years.

Chi lost to MKE, just think it's notable because it's pretty much where we are. We aren't the cream of the crop anymore, we're Indy/Chi and Golden State and San Antonio are Miami. We're better than most of these secondary teams, but we aren't special. I guess that's why I'm not really upset about pulling out wins, I just don't view us as highly as some of you guys do anymore.

Durant could have done this the entire game, but he only decided to show up in the final minutes?

Durant is taking 31% of his shots inside of 10 feet, in his three previous healthy seasons it was 36.5%, 37.7% and 37.6%. His free throw attempts are also down 3 per game. He either isn't fully back or it's a function of Donovan's offense....

I'll give you that. He shot NINE threes this game and made only TWO of them. TWO of them. And a lot of them were good looks for Durant. So either he's trying to get himself going or Donovan is telling him to be more aggressive and shoot the 3, which is very plausible, because he's talked a lot about Durant needing to take over the game. I think Durant should be shooting a lot from outside, but they have to find a way to get him open looks outside, which they do for the most part, but Durant just wasn't knocking some of them down tonight. Durant is a way better shooter when he has the ball in his hand. He can rock you to sleep and create so much space and get his shot where he wants it, but that's so contradictory to what Donovan's offense is about. I almost feel like Westbrook and Durant need to be similar to Wade and LeBron in their first year when they realized that they are going to have to defer to each other. I remember they decided to let Wade handle the ball after he made a shot or if he got a rebound, etc. Basically, I think that would help a whole lot here. Durant looks out of his element while Westbrook looks totally in his. I don't know, though. Am I the only one who is seeing this?
