Finally, Los Angeles has an NFL Football team to root for...Chargers have the option to follow.

Personally hoping the chargers join since they are my favorite AFC team. Having said that, not sure how much support the Rams will get (even if there's an older generation fanbase here for them). Most people root for other teams here and it's not like they are just going to give up rooting for them.

How nice of the NFL to wait for Kobe to exit LA before bringing a team back.

LA people only rooted for other teams because there was no local team to cheer for. Now that the Rams are coming back, you'll see the fan base get big real fast.

Fun fact that a lot of people surprisingly aren't aware of, the Rams played in this stadium the last 14 yrs of their time here:

Going back to the original colors would be great. If they build that stadium in inglewood its going to be like a 20 minute drive from my parents house. I feel bad for my parents since they are going to have to deal with the traffic.

As cool as it is, I was really hoping for an expansion franchise. The Chargers have the first option to follow, if they decline then the Raiders have the option to come also. I bet the Chargers will stay after SD builds a palace down there and then the Raiders come back to. It will be like the early 90s.

Also I was hoping they would put the stadium near Staples instead of The Great Western Forum. Inglewood always up to no good. Ha. Inglewood will be the new sodosopa.

Happy that LA is getting an NFL team that it so obviously deserves but I have to say Stan Kroenke is such a duplicitous piece of **** that I wish nothing good for him.

He made an agreement with the city of St. Louis when he took over majority ownership that he had no intention of moving the team and since then shirked the media at every chance, made thoroughly extortionate demands to the city to build a new stadium knowing fully well that they will not be met, still shrugged away any honest attempt made by the city to negotiate in good faith until he got his move.

Well now he got his move. I hope he doesn't pull the same crap a few years from now in LA.

Honestly I may be more excited for the complex than the Rams themselves. I grew up a Rams fan but the NFL kind of lost me when the Rams left town 20 years ago.

Kroenke is the owner of the team, instead of taking money from St. Louis and the NFL, he bought the land needed, and is building his own stadium with no help from the taxpayers of LA. In the end, he gets what he wants, and has to pay for it, and hell probably come out ahead. If the Clippers are worth 2 billion, an LA football team with a brand new stadium has to be worth more.

Reports are it'll be the Chargers. They've been unhappy in San Diego for years and have rebuffed multiple options the city has offered them to stay in the past. Doubt the city has anything to offer that would be as beneficial as a move to LA

Land around Staples is too expensive now. It would have been cool but financially undoable

I personally don't want more than one team here. Let the other teams stay put.
