I think Simmons' ceiling is higher than George's, so no from me.

Any interest in Alex Poythress (Kentucky) in the second round? Senior, 6'8'', 240, 7'0'' wingspan.

Sleeper guy I want with one of the OKC/MIA picks: Taurean Prince

He's improved his 3pt shooting from 33% in his freshman year, 36% his sophomore year, to now 40% this year. Has great size for a 2 or 3 at 6'7" 215. He always guards the other teams best wing player. He's the prototype 3+D player.

Getting Wade Baldwin IV and Taurean Prince with the MIA/OKC picks is my dream now.

Edit: y u keep deletin my posts realgm

No. Incredible talent and build but is a complete coward. He's been called out, subtly, by multiple players throughout his career at UK.

Terps report:
Melo Trimble has had a few off games. Keep waiting for him to take the reigns, and he comes out weirdly flat in too many game.
Diamond Stone has really come on. Looks absolutely unstoppable at times. Amazing hands and touch around the basket. Great feet for a guy his size. 79% free throw shooting is huge for a big man. Nice, soft jumper.
Jake Layman could make for an interesting second round flyer.

Damn Ingram's jumper is so wet. I would package some type of deal with the Lakers pick to move up and get him.

We definitely need at least the number 2 pick. Anything lower than that and this was all for naught although I might sell the farm minus Embiid to get Simmons or Ingram.

9+ years of Ben Simmons under team control versus three years of PG under team control? No way.

Exactly. PG is a great player no doubt but Simmon's ceiling is even higher. Plus the age factor as well.

Not for 1 or 2. For 3? Yes.

Buddy Hield is having another impressive outing. 20 in 1st half so far.

Not for 1 or 2? If Ingram reaches his potential he is basically PG.

Well, I suppose that I would be tempted at 2, but no. I want to grow the team the right way, and that means, if given the opportunity to draft 2nd, that I want our core to be our young guys.

Paul George is only 25 years old and a proven star on both sides of the ball.

I think the fanbase has gotten so used to kicking the can down the road that it would turn down a proven star in the fat part of his prime, for an unknown....just because that's what we've gotten used to, I guess. We've become a bunch of masochists.

Ya I just dont get it. PG is 25 years old and is averaging 24/7/4 while being one of the premiere perimeter defenders. If Ingram ever puts up numbers like that, thats a major win for whoever gets Ingram. Simmons is a guy that has defensive questions especially when it comes to the NBA and he has major question marks on how he is going to score in the half court in the NBA. Again two really good prospects, but PG is the proven all star two way player at the age of 25. Thats rare, you take the proven prospect

I don't know. I love Simmons and think he's the best prospect since LeBron but George is awesome. George would be perfect for us. He is a very good jump shooter whereas Simmons isn't. He's a very good defender whereas Simmons isn't on his level nor Ingram. George is still young. He's not some old man. He's 25. He can play at a high level for another 8 years. Right now I'm not sure which way I would go but I'm leaning towards George.
