GT: Cavaliers vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Jan 14, 2016 3:33 pm

When: 6:00 PM MT January 14th 2016
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX

This might be our biggest test of the year so far. The Cav's are an 8 game winning streak and we still haven't lost at home yet this season, so one of those streaks has to end tonight.

Go Spurs!!

Too bad i cannot watch it live. It was nice seeing the Mavs almost beat them.Time for the real Texan showdown. I hope if Bron whines for an and2 one after tacking almost three steps between the foul and the basket Boban slaps his ugly azz.

almost 3 steps? So you are agreeing that it should have been an and 1 (which would have been the right call)

I don't think he was lol.... But this will be a fun game to watch. The league is kind of down this year as far as really good teams so it will be nice to see 2 very good teams go at it.

As far as Boban goes: its probably going to be a big deal for him. I doubt he is on the floor the same time LeBron is but it has to mean something for him playing in America and actually being on the same court as Lebron which I'm sure he's heard a ton about for the first time.

Getting embarrassed early.

Danny Green... can't even inbound the ball. Then throws it away because he is scared to put on the ball on the floor.

Send Green to the D League. No joke. Wide open three, pretty much travels to step into a wide open 10 footer and airballs it. Then gets a wide open three and barely hits the rim. He is done.

Thank goodness Tony showed up tonight because no one else has. We should be down by 20.

Shot selection has been terrible. Leonard is forcing those jumpers where the ball should keep moving, Manu's drives are fine but his jumpers are bad shots and Duncan is throwing up forced junk down low.

I think a lot of this is because we've played soo many crap teams this year. I think they have kind of forgotten how hard they need to work against a good team. I saw a little of this in the first half the other night against Detroit who plays good defense. Then Detroit turned back into Detroit and we pulled away.

Great D in the 4th so far. And great job by guys like West, Anderson, Mills etc.

By the way Marv Albert and Chris Webber might be in the middle of the worst commentated game all year.

They've called Aldridge Duncan, Diaw was West, they called Anderson a rookie, that pass out of bounds from Shumpert and they said Dellavadova stepped out etc. It's like they aren't watching at all.

can't say no to a win. Thought we got some VERY lenient calls but again, won't complain
Pretty sure if it wasn't for Tony going off in the 2nd we might not have had the motivation to pull through in the 3rd/4th. West had an excellent game and kawhi still managed to get 20 **** points
