Ya Payne has a nice change of pace to his game
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Wiz seem to be playing better with Brad back.
Imagine the Raptors get the 2nd seed only to face them again..

OKC is proving you can be a good team and still play your rookies decent minutes. Payne has improved so much past few weeks with minutes

That's more the luxury of having two of the best players in the entire league on your team. They're so top heavy they can take chances on unknowns and rookies, and not skip a beat because one of Westbrook and/or Durant will single handedly win them the game. We in comparison don't have as talented as a roster and rely on our role players more than they do.

Good night for the Raps so far, and it may end up being great. Bulls and Pacers lost, it looks like the Hawks are about to lose too, and the Heat are down double digits to the Nuggets halfway through the 3rd.

Looks like a perfect storm tonight Washington passes NYKs, Dallas beat Chicago, Bucks beat Atlanta, Miami losing now to Denver and hopefully Houston can beat Cleveland.

What's up with ATL. I mean we barely even have carroll and we're currently 2nd. Atl has had some ugly losses recently.

We had Hassan Whiteside in summer league... So depressing. We had so many chances to land a great Center and we are stuck with Jonas.

Didn't they just beat Golden State or was that Utah?

I would like to know how Houston managed to get 13 points in three minutes to start the game then only 38 points in the next 33 minutes.

Re: General NBA Discussion Thread
Cavs/Rockets game is so uninteresting that they were talking about the Raptors and Canadian basketball for the first few minutes of the 4th quarter. hahaha

Can't believe how bad the Rockets are this year

Sucks that we haven't played Houston yet, it'd be good to take advantage of their struggles and get a win

They acknowledged the good record, but the conversation was more so based on the Raptors of the past (talking about when they came in the league, how TT grew up watching Vince at the ACC, etc) then they were just listing off Canadian players and how basketball is really growing up here. It was pretty cool to hear during an ESPN broadcast, though.
