Yup. Seriously, I don't know what's going on with Tyson. He's our WORST DEFENSIVE PLAYER, which is damn hard to be given how bad this team is defensively.

On top of that, he barely jumps for alley oops. If anybody even breaths on him, he stops going for the ball and just flails and screams. If the pass is even a few inches high, he can't get to it. It's just ridiculous, and I don't understand why we continue to run those with him. Put Len in (once healthy) at this point if you're going to do that.

I hope Chandler holds his value into next year, because he's closing in on becoming our Kendrick Perkins.

I think on a more competitive team he would perform better. He probably has not desire like most of the rest of this team. Guys seem to be playing more for themselves.

Yeah, obviously this team had no where near playoff level talent. Bledsoe should have been in the all star conversation, but no one other than Kobe will get consideration being on a really bad team, and he was playing some games we were bad.

Disagree. This team has fallen apart, but it's as much coaching as talent. We had the talent to contend for the playoffs. Particularly with Bledsoe and how Utah is playing, we're not even THAT far out without Bledsoe and with how awful we've played ever since. A healthy Bledsoe and the idea we didn't have the talent to make it don't quite mesh. I don't think we should've been aiming for the playoffs because we can't contend for a title whatsoever, but we have the talent level with Bledsoe to contend with Utah. Instead, Bledsoe's hurt, and all year Hornacek has been one of our worst performers. Almost none of what he's done all year makes sense. The idea that this is just a talent issue is nonsense when he consistently makes the decisions he makes. I can't name 1 thing he's done well this year, and can you honestly say he's improved this team since Bledsoe's gone out in any way?

We can keep pointing to continuity and turnover and unhappy roles, but every team has guys playing roles they don't want to. Almost all players in this league want a bigger role than they have. And yet, the most consistent thing I notice from watching this team over the past 3 years,is that no matter who plays PG for us, our assists suck, our defense is bad, and there is almost no improvement on either side of the ball as the season goes on. Even when you readjust the baseline following trades or key injuries, you watch 10-20 games after and there's no improvement. The guy has flat out sucked.

There is a chemistry issue. Could be shot volume and lack of sharing issue.

It's possible. Yet, we signed him to be the leader. How about he earns his paycheck and leads instead of being a pouting victim. Every player on this team aside from Booker, Len, Leuer, and maybe Warren, imo, sees themselves as a victim. Even the coach.

Possible, but this team sucked at passing when our chemistry was awesome during the 48 win team. That team didn't share (Goran and Bledsoe took almost all the shots, while Kieff and Marcus took the bench shots). No team under Jeff has passed well no matter the personnel, and despite playing a faster tempo than all but 1 or 2 teams in the league, we still are damn near last in assists. That's with Goran, that's with Bledsoe, that's with IT. Goran and IT's teams aren't having that problem elsewhere either. Our system is not conducive to sharing and ball movement. Not really.

It's so bad Eric Bledsoe isn't even watching the game right now. He's with his family watching Disney on Ice.

4-1 bet; Booker numbers are significantly lower when Knight is on the floor, plus his attempts % is significantly lower when Knight is in. :nonono:

That 48 win team overachieved... Dragic putting up all-NBA performances and Gerald Green putting up 30+ point games in many wins.

I would say the team accepted that Dragic, Bledsoe and Green would be the scorers....

This current team is disheartenned by the selfishness.

Seriously, this is my biggest concern about the player's feelings and Hornacek.

Warren is treated like a complementary player to give rest to Tucker and provide some offense.....what the hell? He is our best player (yes Knight, this is the real world) by far after Bledsoe and he is ridiculously underused.

He was playing like a beast the 4 games that he was an starter...something like 19p and 6r per game and over 50% shooting.....but we lost those games.... and OMG, what a surprise, Hornacek changed his mind. We are losing every game with Tucker or Leuer or Markieff on the starting lineup, so I don't know what Hornacek thinking.....

Terrible coach, just terrible.

I agree about many of the things you say, and when you have a lame duck coach put in the situations he has been in this year, with conflicting demands, things are not going to look cohesive or make any sense. The root of the problem is not him. It's deeper.

It's time to bring in someone new, but if ANYONE was put in the situation he has been in the last two years, they are almost destined to fail. The FO has put together a team that makes ZERO sense, and despite McD being somewhat good at acquiring good assets, though also somewhat good at giving good assets away, he has NOT put McD in any kind of good situation that sets up a coach for any type of success.

Knight 20 shots... 1 assist.

Goodwin as PG, took half the amount of shots and put up a lot more assists not to mention moved the ball around a lot.... if he wanted points, he attacked the rim, drew fouls. And he is paid 1/15th that of Knight.

I did that yesterday and man you just get so pissed with yourself. What a pointless thing to do. And then, right after that, I take my dog for a walk and some guy, while getting out of his car, let go of his leash on his big dog, which came and attacked mine and I couldn't stop it that quickly, and now he is gashed all up and lost any and all playfulness and just seems depressed.

OK, that was off topic, but I felt like he was attacked by a T-Wolf.
