Beasley recorded a triple-double in the game, finishing with 63 points, 19 rebounds and 13 assists. Sure, it was in an All-Star Game in China, but 63 points is still 63 points, and it set a new CBA record for the game.

This is the second CBA All-Star Game MVP award Beasley has won. Last year, he won the award after scoring a then-record 59 points.

This might be a repost but damn, the heat should give him another chance, he didn't do anything wrong. No idea why pat riley let him go

What role would you envision for him? Back up PF? I guess the question is whether or not he is better than McBob and Stat.

I think he might be better than Stat but Stat is the better locker room presence so it's fine. He's not better than McBob.

Wouldn't have mattered either way, I can see him dropping 60+ in a regular CBA-season game regardless with the same effort.

LOL at the defense played in that video. One move and clear path to the basket. At one point one of the defenders was picking his nails while Beasley was driving to the hoop... :lol:

Guys Beasley was 2 assist shy of recording a triple double on his last game as a Heat. Dude put up 34/8/11. The crazy thing is he lead the team in assist but had 3 turnovers.

i agree and i think the local basketball street players would teach some basketball fundamentals to these chinese players because they suck.aside from that,i want beasley to stay in china because nobody wants him here and its better for him to be in a place where he is wanted and appreciated.here he would be just a regular basketball player with an history of bouncing off teams

Exactly, he can make a lot of money and become a hero just like Steph Marbury. They may even build him a statue.

Yes, his scoring off the bench would be helpful. What wouldn't be helpful is his black hole defense and his poor shot selection.

He was inefficient as hell last year.
