Reminder: Free League Pass This Week

Post#1 » by bballnmike » Tue Jan 19, 2016 4:15 pm

Didn't see this mentioned yet, just a friendly reminder that there is a free NBA League Pass trial this week.

Simply sign up here: https://secure.nba.com/membership/leaguepassfreetrial/user/login/

Afterwards there will likely be a "deal" to buy LP at half price for the remainder of the season. I'll probably do that since the Pistons will be fighting for a playoff seed for that first time in a while. (as opposed to the not so great streams I've been using so far this year).

They really need to get rid of the blackout restrictions... I would buy League Pass every year.

Agree. Unfortunately I think that is more of an issue with Cable companies/channels than the NBA: Comcast, Fox Sports, etc.

Yeah, maybe they can possibly restructure future contracts to get rid of these blackouts. Cable is going to decline every year from here on out, everything is going on-demand with Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Get rid of the blackouts, that should add significantly more league pass members, throw some commercials on there, that should make up for any lost revenue in cable TV deals. Maybe :dontknow:

Download CyberGhost free vpn.. It will work for the blackouts if anyone is using the free league pass and it will bypass the blackout.

Wow I did not know that existed. So this will work if I buy LeaguePass? Hmmmm.
This probably doesn't work for games on Espn/TNT right? I believe those are blacked out for everyone.

Correct about ESPN, TNT, NBATV, etc. You should try it now before you buy and see if fox sports detroit games are blacked out
