If he gets a post game or something he can go to consistently he's going to be a really good player.. Him and Allen have been lighting it up for Duke

Luke Kennard has really turned it on as of late. To bad Duke doesnt have a single Big man on the roster that knows how to play basketball.

I actually think Ingram will be a better shooter in the NBA. He gets scared when defenders get too close and he needs to learn to shoot over them with his long arms. The extended three point line should help him a lot with that.

I noticed that Duke hasn't had a good big man in awhile, i remember Jabari playing Center because of it..

They def need some good bigs, they are just too soft right now inside..

In 2 of the past 4 years we have had a big win the big man of the year award with Mason Plumlee and Okafor. We actually have a really good big this year with Amile Jefferson but he has been hurt the past month with his foot. He was 1 of 9 guys averaging a double double and he was the second best offensive rebounder in the nation when he went down. Jabari's year we had no big, that was a very very flawed team. And this year without Amile we are a very flawed team. Next year we will have Giles and the year after we are the heavy favorites for Wendell Carter and Mohamed Bamba. If you have never seen Bamba, youtube him, unreal length

I forgo about Amile. Foot injuries for a big is not good.. Giles is going to be a really good one, I'll have to check out bamba, ihave never seen him play

Ya our season hinges on Amile. Right now we are a terrible team without him. But ya check out Bamba, the longest arms you have ever seen and a really good athlete too. He has like a 7'9 wingspan. Crazy good shot blocker

Dissapointing game from Ingram again today. His offence worryingly really seems to vanish in the second halves and late in games. Seems to lack a killer instinct to be able to take over late in games, often in those moments fading away.

Na, he played ok. Had a good all round game. One thing though, I hope he doesn't become to reliant on his 3-ball. I might be wrong but I think he attemped near 7 3s in the first half

Ingram hasn't looked particularly impressive in any of his last 5 games except for the 25 point outing. Seems to be coming back down to earth a bit after his good run.

I think he needs to do more than shoot spot up 3s which btw he has excelled at.. But Duke needs him to take over games.. He doesn't look comfortable yet when his 3 point shot is taken away imo. Too many times he isn't taking on the mismatch.

Duke as a whole needs to play some defense and their guards need to rebound or box out better

Duke is really short, they are playing with 5-6 guys, Ingram is playing PF full time, and almost 40 minpg, that wears people down

Duke is really thin upfront, the team really doesn't play to Ingram's strength. I agree he looks a little timid but the whole Duke team looks like the lack confidence. They looked horrible vs The Orangemen, just kept moving the ball around the perimeter, none of the big men came out against the zone defense.

Every college team is like this with every player. None of them play to the player's strengths. This case is different. He's going to need to eventually play some PF in the NBA and this his opportunity to get a taste of it at a lesser level before he goes up against stronger guys. I think this is great for his development.

He needs to learn to not be so reliant on shooting 3s. Yes he is having some success there at the moment, but that is the only way he is getting his buckets. When the three isn't falling for him it's going to be difficult for him to really impact the game or score

I wonder what the odds for both the
No 1 and 2 ranked player in next years draft missing the tourney were at the start of the year lol?

Brandon Ingram should be the number one pick. Love Simmons game but Ingram has no holes and has elite length. Almost 6'10 sf with a 7ft wingspan and can score from behind he arc or drive. He's Kevin Durant 2.0 and is only 18. As a Laker fan my pipe dream this off season is draft Ingram, and sign Derozan and Whiteside.. Getting both Derozan and Whiteside is a stretch but I do think we have a solid shot at maxing Derozan and pulling him away him from Boronto.. A Derozan and Ingram duo is lethal.
