it's not about being soft. personally I'm concerned with Drummond development. FT's issue, lack of consistency, struggles defending bigs with shooting range, dumb fouls like the one who gave Gasol 3 ft attempts.
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Yes, this definitely happened. Once SVG said that KCP turned his attention from the officials to Stan and started yelling at him. After the game Reggie said something along the lines of "KCP wanted someone to have his back". I wonder if he was talking about Stan?

Respectable lost against a good team, nothing else to say.
Jennings is way better than Blake man. Jennings is just trying to stay healthy and pick-up his wind, the guy knows he's going to be traded.

Heard the same thing thought the same thing. Hopefully it's not a big problem or anything

Re: Game 41: Detroit Pistons (22-18) vs. Chicago Bulls (23-16) - 3:30 PM ET
After KCP was hit with a technical foul, it looked a lot like he didn't realize it. As KCP was hanging around the Pistons' bench, Stan Van Gundy relayed the message to KCP that he was gone and, as KCP was walking away, SVG threw in what looks an awfully lot like a derisive, "Nice job." In other words, not a nice job, you idiot. KCP heard this and immediately turned around and shouted some things in SVG's direction. It's not clear what KCP's saying, but it's very clear he's not happy with SVG in that moment. Even Brandon Jennings has a look on his face like, "C'mon, coach," before he escorts KCP away. KCP turned back a couple times as he was walking off the court and he wasn't yapping only in David Jones' direction. The cameras would ultimately switch back to a still-seething SVG, who appeared to say at least one more thing to KCP as he was walking away.
"I felt like it was a bad call, unfortunately," Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson said. "I'm not sure what he was thinking, if he felt like it was just him out there. I think he wants to feel like somebody has his back. He's very feisty, he plays hard all the time.
"KCP just wants somebody to have his back. That's about it. I got it -- but I think he knows better. We already talked about it, but I think he'll learn from it."
It's not hard to read between the lines of what Jackson thinks after speaking with KCP: KCP wanted SVG to have his back.
i am actually on KCP's side. SVG is all about winning and he felt that KCP was being selfish in the moment, however knowing how hard kcp plays and mild tempered he is, if he's that upset, its for a reason. teaching moment for everyone

I don't know why folks are the least bit concerned about the interaction between SVG and KCP. Stan will probably just run to McDonalds and get Kentavius a Happy Meal before next practice. Might even share a Coke and a smile.

Gasol postgame:
Bulls really wanted that game, and Pistons probably not as hungry having already beat them twice and coming off a huge win vs GS. Just how the season goes sometimes. Law of averages are eventually going to balance out. No shame being 2-1 vs the Bulls (which means we still hold the tiebreaker too).
"To beat Detroit who’s a team that we’ve lost to twice in overtime games it feels good. They’re playing well, they just beat Golden State last game, so good job from my guys and we have to keep it going.”

It's possible to over-analyse this stuff. Bulls were more on their game last night. They had more guys shooting well. You know; win some lose some. With this team it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to be trying to prognosticate big winning or losing streaks. We lost this game after winning a game pretty much everyone said we had no chance.

I remember felt like just yesterday when some people were saying Jennings is better than Reggie and that Jennings is gonna comeback and get his starting spot back.

I might be the only other guy that doesn't have a problem with Maker's posts... in fact, I rather appreciate them.

Jennings is a better "Point-Guard", but Reggie is the better starting guard for this team right now. It's all about timing!
