Knight should not be left off the hook for his abysmal decision making and selfish boneheadedness. I don't care if he's not a PG, he doesn't even look like an NBA player right now. You can rightfully criticize Horney for his spinelessness and lack of a buyable system but obviously you Knight defenders are absolving your boy from taking any blame.

Knight has to be the most disappointing guard in franchise history. McDonough touted this guy as an all star and paid him like one. I had high hopes for him and he cannot even dribble or pass. He is obviously not the worst player they ever had but I stand by my opinion that he is the most disappointing. What is there to like about him. How many people would rather have Eddie House or Leandro Barbosa than Knight. There is a reason he is routinely on Shaqtin' a Fool and Jason Kidd wanted to get rid of him.

I like Knight. Looks like trash but he's not playing his position. He's not good at all running point. Easy as that.

It's so predictable that it becomes easier to defend as the game goes on. It's just a fantastic offense that frequently involves only 2 players on the floor, gets almost no assists, and tons of turnovers, while failing to get the ball to many of our best offensive players. Just a fantastic scheme.
It's not a scheme. It's player iq. Get a grip on yourself and stop repeating nonsense. You are a very good poster but sometimes it gets ridiculous.
I agree we play like crap and their are turnovers. But no assists and tons of turnovers is not the scheme. C'mon, you're better than that.

I really can't stand him either but I think if he can settle into more of a 2 guard role (big problem though with Booker there) and not dribble too much....I can't believe a guy who thinks he is a pg can't even dribble that well, he could be at least ok.

House, Barbosa at least knew their roles on this team they wouldn't do anything extra to look good while Knight tries to do too much with the ball and can't figure out his mistakes. Next game he continues to make the same mistake, after mistake after mistake. It's like he's too lazy to figure out how to thrive on a team and improve his mistakes.

We have no playmakers or guys with high bbq, when the highest bbq is coming from the 18 or 19 year old rookie you have a big **** problem. Warren and Booker are our smartest players and that is extremely sad

He wasn't nearly this bad in Milwaukee as the primary ballhandler. He had more talent around him but looks he has the green light to do whatever he wants without consequence here. He was moved because he impeded the development of Giannis and Middleton and he will do the same to our young core if given free reign

Haha Brandon Knight
19 mins 1-8 from the field, 1 assist, 6 turnovers.
What a putrid player.
"Oh but he's a great SG I hear you say"? No he's not, he was traded by two average EC teams by the time he was 23.
He stinks.
19 mins for Knight, 21 for Tucker and 3 for Warren?
To hell with this team!

He thinks he is steph curry with these forced shots and over dribbling nonsense. he has a quarter of the skill steph curry has and i wish he was being compensated to represent that

If my shooting guard is averaging 20 pts, 5 asts, I'm happy. Don't get me wrong, I would rather have Booker starting shooting guard when Bledsoe comes back. He's not a point guard. Doesn't help we have no cutters on our team, minus Warren that doesn't play.

I know they won't be the outcome of this game but on a lost season we expect to see them play more minutes instead of 3 minutes one game and 12 the next. Hornacek's minute distribution is pretty bad.

if there was ever a player to represent the label empty stats its brandon knight, we've seen how many of those points have come in blowout losses and garbage time

So when we had Bledsoe, Goran, and IT on the floor at the same time, we didn't have enough passing IQ to get assists? Because this has been a problem the ENTIRE TIME UNDER JEFF. It's not some new aspect. IT and Goran don't have complaints as being stupid players since leaving, and didn't before arriving. The only time I keep reading this junk about IQ where it would have merit is with Knight, and it's just absolutely choosing to ignore the past 2 years under Jeff. You'd have a point if we were even AVERAGE in assists before Knight showed up, which we should be. Playing an extra PG and running a fast tempo means you should have more assists than other teams per game. Instead, we've ALWAYS been bottom of the league. That's ridiculous. If I chose to just say all the players are stupid to the extant I see it on this board, then no coach would ever deserve to be fired. I could use that as the excuse for everything every bad coach has ever done.
Our offensive scheme leaves a ton to be desired. You can choose to throw all of it under player IQ, but the common theme in all of this has been Jeff. Just because Jeff was a smart player himself doesn't mean he has a good scheme, no more than MJ being the greatest player of all time means he is a good GM or coach. Isaiah Thomas was a smart player, and he had lousy schemes.

Especially when he was looking like our best player as a starter

It really is unbelievable how bad Knight is as a pg. Especially since he thinks he is one.

WARREN 3 MINUTES?? I can't believe it.
Tyson, Tucker and Knight all the time on the court?
OMG.
I agree it is ridiculous.
I think it is one of three reasons.
They want to trade PJ and they want him to get minutes, and they want to trade Markieff, so they don't want to move PJ to the 4, allowing TJ to play the 3.
TJ is ailing for some reason.
(Hopefully not this one) They still don't want to give up on the season and since Indiana plays big, we don't go small, and they want PJ's energy out there and a bigger, tougher lineup.
Probably they are trying to "sell" Tuker, Markieff and Teletovic to the rest of the league but with that situation they are not taking into account Warren's feelings. This guy is young and quiet, but he can be seriously unsatisfied about his situation.
No one see Dragic's reaction coming last year.... Warren can demand a trade if this is his role for the next 10 games before trade deadline.
I am concerned about the situation.

And now Mirza is starting at the 2nd half.

Give me 4 hard working Tucker's on a team over 2 brandon Knights. Don't care if I get killed for this statement but I'd feel better watching the Suns.
