I think it's time we inject this team with a booster injection of super cool.

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

EDIT: Wait...how many warnings do you already have against your record? Wow.

Chinese all star game is as boring as the NBA all star game.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

QUIZ wrote:What role would you envision for him? Back up PF? I guess the question is whether or not he is better than McBob and Stat.

He would have been what the Heat needed for a scorer off the bench. We choose Mcbob over him which was silly and puzzling.

The think is it would require Spo to actually use him on the offensive end. We should not be playing at such a slow pace

He was inefficient as hell last year.

Part of that was Spos offensive game planning. A guy like Beasley and Green needs to have the green light to chuck away. If they are off you can always sub in someone else.

He was chucking, though. He averaged nearly 9 FGA/game, which was more than anyone not named Bosh, Wade, Dragic or Deng.

If your skill is scoring, yes you should more attempts than a standing shooter or a defense specialist

If your ONLY skill is scoring, yet you can't score efficiently - you shouldn't be in the NBA.

Which is why he's in China.

You act like he's never been efficient? Yes he struggle with his jumper. He was efficient when he played a full season 2013-14. When you are a scorer you take shots, it's the same for Green. I have no problem with Green. Play his game, it's up to the coach to spot him in game where you need an aggressive scorer. You can't have only players who depend on others to get them scoring opportunity. You have to have a mixture of both.

The problem with Beasley over the years is his defense. The funny thing, last year his defense was fine. It was his offense that struggle. The touch just wasn't there.

Beasley is NOT AN EFFICIENT SCORER. As Rex noted, when that's you're best skill and you're an inefficient chucker, you have no place in this league.

Why didn't he get resigned? Well, why didn't ANYONE sign him? I will never understand the Beasley love from some of the same people that rip Bosh and Dragon.

He is a career 45% shooter and 34.3% from 3. Average at best. His career ts% is 50.6%. Average at best. His career ortg is 98 while his care drtg is 107. So his teams average a net -9 per 100 possessions when he's on the floor.

I don't want him on this team. You shouldn't either. I feel like this always claiming we could use his scoring off the bench are still clinging to his college days, because his entire NBA resume reads like journeyman fodder. No thanks. We've tried this bum long enough to know he's a bum. He could be tearing it up in the JCC and it wouldn't be any different.

Beasley would be a rotation player for the heats this year if he decides to come back after his stint in china

I believe our big man rotation is set. I would rather get a sharpshooting combo guard to back up Dragon and Flash.

Return to Miami Heat
