Just in case you weren't sure how much we need more shooting.

The annoying thing is most of us saw it coming a while away, even before pre-season started. Half my posts before the season were about how teams are going to clog the paint and make us shot and if we brick we're in deep ****.

Guess what - it's happening non **** stop. Big **** surprise.

Yet nothing is done. nothing. We're ignoring the biggest aspect of the NBA game these days (3 point shooting, IN HIGH VULEME) like we're living in 1982. guess what - you adapt or die in this league. And we're dying. With no direction or real fire, either.

If this is somehow indirect bushes, I'll reiterate. It's not that simple, we need better shooters or A better shooter but the fact that Wade is the only player on the ENTIRE team that can effectively create his own shot is an understatement of our most damning problems. Barreling out for shooters is just digging holes try to fill other ones. Can't consistently create for these shooters and they are useless

Tj/Green/Winslow are our core off the bench and even Gerald has some immunity here, you can't create consistently for them and they are useless. We can go kicking over every trash can looking for a shooter but it's definitely in it's own case, NEEDED to be handled after the fact.

We could use another shooter, We NEED at the very least, one other ballhandler... we don't have enough to just get by

If it's between a shooter and a effective ballhandler, I'm going ballhandler. If we have enough empty roster spots(rotational) to employ to more players then try to do both

We need a shooter that can handle.

Best thing out there is Batum. Better pray we can get him and he delivers.

Deng can't do either.

sometimes one piece can make a big difference, in this case I think Batum alone won't be enough, more changes are needed.

Wade and Bosh impressed with Michael Beasley

http://heatzone.blog.palmbeachpost.com/2016/01/20/chris-bosh-dwyane-wade-following-michael-beasleys-impressive-cba-career/

Uh oh :o I wonder if it could mean a 4th Michael Beasley stint.

**** it, he won't be much worse then Deng. Not even kidding.

Deng is smarter, better BB IQ. Beas is healthier, younger, quicker.

Both cant' pass, both are average defender at best at this stage, both are below average 3 point shooters.

Deng has the defensive edge, Beas might have the offensive edge despite being inefficient.

Has Bosh reached out to Beasley to congratulate him on his CBA success? Nope.

“He doesn’t text back,” Bosh said. “That’s right I said it. He does a horrible job at communicating so I gave up.”

And that's part of the reason we don't want him here. The guy is just detached from everything, including being part of a pro team.

Well, Wade hasn't spoken to him and he's ignoring Bosh. Not sure he cares at this point.

IIRC, Pat didn't even offer Marcus Thornton a contract. We could've used him badly, he loves playing us too.

Q: Is it time to try with Michael Beasley again? -- Morris, New York.

A: No, been there, failed that. And how come it always comes down to the Heat taking a shot? Why have none of the other 29 teams over the past two seasons looked at his numbers in China and made a run? Look, I can appreciate how Michael provides the type of offense that Justise Winslow doesn't. But do you really want to take minutes away from Winslow at this stage for a stop-gap veteran? Plus, isn't Gerald Green supposed to be Beasley? So for all those pushing for Beasley to come in and ease the scoring and shooting concerns, my question would be whether you instead would be willing to cash out on Green?

it's like your girlfriend (Beasley) broke up w/ you (Beas-heads) and you're not over her and can't get her out of your mind. but everybody else is thinking...."what do you see in her she is not good for you, is not girlfriend material and is rather useless"...but you stay thinking about her anyway, especially during tough times.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I can barely say it out loud but amazingly we could find ourselves in another Winslow/Philly dilemma this year. Un-Fu@king believable.

Our pick is again top 10 protected. If Spo can't get this **** together, we could find ourselfs fighting for a low seed spot in the playoffs, and be tempted to miss it alltogther in order to keep the #8-#10 pick in the draft. AGAIN.

1. If that **** happens again, Spo needs to be fired, packed and out of Miami before draft night. Enough is enough.

2. If that happens, Iv'e got my Tank keys on standby. **** being a 8 seed.

3. If that happens, basketball gods might **** on us and give us the #11 pick if we don't tank hard enough. We got super lucky with Justise last year.

4. If that happens, a full rebuild might be the way to go. Blow this **** all up. Start from scratch, build a team with shooting and youth and hunger for the game in the 2016, not 1997. Wade could go chase a ring, Bosh can go be a second banana somewhere, Dragic dealt for someone younger, Deng can go be a Samuel Jackson impersonator on Hollywood boulevard.

I like Batum too, although I have my doubts about how he'd fit here... If we could get him on a good deal or what-not, then we should do it. Going forward with this core, our success depends on how we set up Wade and get/keep him involved. He's not our best player but he's our most important player and going to be for the remainder of his career here as it pertains to our success. Batum is a smart player and would be a great fit next to Goran, but I'm not sure how good of a fit he would be next to Wade/Whiteside... very few players would be good fits here anyhow, so if We could get it done, then we should do it and hope for the best

As for the other changes, those are a lot more clear-cut. Get a back-up PG, accept that Green is not a rotational player and put him on the reserves, then get some damn serviceable bigs... Also not against letting go of Tyler for a more versatile 2-guard, although that's not going to be a very favorable opinion here.

Although it's obviously not going to happen, if Pat grew weary of this... we could probably get good value for Bosh right now with the season he's been having. and gamble our way out of our terrible fit with some mid-exception players. With the way our season's been going, we're probably not going to win in FA anyway. Whiteside/Bosh has rarely been a good pair together either, and with Whiteside's trade value being non-existent... in a different org. it would probably be a decent gamble

i.e. Gut check a team like Mavs for Wesley/Parsons or Hawks for Millsap/Baze or Pistons, etc., etc., etc.
