The hawks are 1 piece away, but they are 5 steps away from getting that piece.
Trade I am certain everyone on both sides will hate, but what about starting with a trade centered around Teague for Gordon Hayward. That team is flush with lottery talent but can't even get to .500. Teague knows the coach and the system.
GH is 25 and entering his prime. He is shooting 42% on deep threes (25+ feet) and his contract will be considered a steal under the new CBA.
We'd need to add value with Teague approaching FA and with his contract being so tiny. Maybe include Tiago, ask for Jeff Withey in return?
We'd have our SF ready to contribute from day one.

Just an observation. But POR is rebuilding with youth, looking to get lucky with a top young player to grow into stardom with Lillard.
Would MIL have any interest in a Jabari for CJ McCollum trade? Is he too much of a scorer, not enough of a playmaker?
I'm just thinking that Middleton and McCollum seem like a solid compliment at PG/SG with Giannis filling in anywhere he's needed. CJ shoots around 40% from three and is an assassin right now. Your core is ready to compete much earlier with roles more clearly defined than they are now.
Or do you guys simply value Jabari much more than a 20 ppg 5 apg combo guard?
