Would you support a big trade at this point?
Losers of 8 of our last 9, topping out with a loss at home to the worst team in the NBA, all while fighting for playoff positioning. It's becoming more and more apparent that our fairy tale start to the reason, is turning into a nightmare. We at one point were 3-13 against teams with a winning record, and didn't want to believe a favorable schedule might have contributed to our hot start. Do we keep trucking through the season with the roster we have now hoping for big improvements, or keep a few guys with potential and retool, realizing that this is a badly constructed team ?

Re: Would you support a big trade at this point?
Yes, I would definitely support some deals to change this roster. It's peaked and for whatever reason, despite some nice talent, is not a playoff team. We can't blame this on Skiles, it's because of him they've overachieved this year. The team got a lot better on defense, but offensively not good together at this point. I honestly would be looking to package Fournier and Harris to see if we could snag a star caliber player. Obviously picks would probably be part of this equation. I won't speculate on what player we could inquire about.

Start with putting Fournier and Vucevic on the block and go from there.

This. Can't stand watching these two play.

No, Fournier and Vuc. But Harris and Frye can be included depending on what deals are out there.

I keep Vooch, need a defensive PF with him, not a stretch 4. Harris out, AG to the 3, bring in defensive PF.

I'd say bye bye to Harris and Fournier. Enough is enough.
We would struggle to beat a D League team at this point..

tired of having to bring in 1 type of player so taht we can keep another on the floor. No team has won a title without some type of post defense. there is only 1 Ibaka out there and we arent getting him. So we need to build a team in a different direction.

Eh pretty **** way to view things. There are plenty of rim defenders out there. If they aren't very offensively gifted, they need to be surrounded by scorers. There are guys who would improve our team. Vuc is a great C. Players are complimentary to each other. That's why you build a team, and 5 play at once. It's called basketball.

Vuc isnt a great center. He's a good center...maybe...

I get where you're coming from but you can't just trade everyone. There are no superstars available so, yes, there should be a few untouchables for the type of players that are realistically available.
For example, I'm not giving up Vuc, Dipo AND AG for borderline all-star (just going to throw a name out there for argument's sake) Kyle Lowry.

If it presents itself, absolutely. This team has reached its peak as constructed. Harris, Vucevic, and Fournier aren't leading you past the .500 ball.

i disagree. Vuc is not a great C. He is a good jump shooting center. to be a great center, you play strong defense and you get to the line.

this is how i feel. We dont have an untouchable on the team. I would prefer not to move Elf, but even he isnt an immovable player.

Part of the process... This team has been playing well up until the last few weeks... There won't be an evaluation and likely trade of talent until the off-season. So hold on to your straps...
