National TV game. A win I'm expecting to us get.

Super excited for this game. I still remember the visit in 2014 when Korver's streak ended. Their sell out streak ended...

And we got destroyed.

I want us to get some measure of revenge and to get this road trip off on a good note.

Our beloved Hawks are favored to win by 2 points.
I am looking forward to seeing Lillard play but lose.

Let's see if this game thread can get over 10 post? The Brooklyn one was laughable.

Bazemore has become a hell of a spot up shooter.

But whenever he has t put the ball on the floor, he looks awful. He definitely needs work on his ball handling if he's going to be a starting SG moving forward.

Hmffl slim chance, getting weary.

Sorry they blew a nice lead, but hold on narrowly.

Hawks up at the half.

Millsap leading scorer as usual.

Hawks have 12 assists vs 5 turnovers.

Teague...has 0 assists and is sporting a team worst +/- of -19.

This streak of poor play has developed into a full blown trend.

What a rough second quarter. We had to know that they wouldn't slump forever, but it's disheartening that they had a first quarter stretch where they missed 16 of 17 FGs and we still couldn't fully take advantage.

4 fouls on Lillard with 5 mins left in the 3rd. He's 4-12 from the field, so it's not like he's making a difference anyway, but he has the ability to heat up at any time.

The Hawks really took advantage Lillard getting into foul trouble and having to sit out the last 5 minutes of the quarter. The lead swelled from 6 to 16 in that time period as we took an opportunity the opponent gave us.

Sorry, I typed what SHOULD HAVE happened.

Instead of us taking advantage and running away with it, we let them come within 2 to close to the quarter.

Game tied with 9+ minutes left...

The fact we continually struggle to put away bad teams is really telling.

This team...is flawed. Inconsistent. Mediocre.

And now Portland has the lead.

Bazemore and Korver combine for 8 straight points to out us back on top.

Man is this team over-reliant on jump shooting. We got to attack the basket.

Let's see if we can keep POR at bay for the last six minutes.

Paul Millsap: where would we be without you, old friend.

I'll always take a win, but I wish we would've taken better advantage of them going 1-16 for a first quarter stretch, and then of Lillard having to sit in the third. I won't complain too much of getting a W on the road, however.

Good road win, guy's should enjoy the scenic route down the PCH (even though it's night) and continue to wreck havoc on the West's 8th seed hopefuls.

This board sometimes, man.

1: Portland isn't a "bad" team. they have allstar caliber point guard and CJ is all star caliber and probably their best player, basically fast becoming one of the better 2 way players in the NBA. With those guys missing games earlier in the year and working in a entirely new starting lineup, they are still in the hunt for the 8 spot in the West and have been playing well once they got healthy and accustomed to each other. Good win, on the road against a good team.

2: Bemoaning not blowing everyone out is a little....strange. CJ got hot in the 2nd. Things that guys on the cusp of superstardom do. Its easy to say "man we should have done this" but the guy abuse everyone that guarded him and we didn't stretch the lead even further.

3: I am not really sure when 7th best record in the league became mediocre but...really?

So in your opinion...are we not massively more talented than POR?
