So Ethan says we could have had Trevor Ariza, but Riley didn't want to give him a 4 year contract...

Also we phucked up trading Zoki and Shabazz, not signing Rich to the d-league first, and going for Green over a phew other choices... But das it.

Exactly. Getting rid of Zoki and Shabazz for nothing still irks the crap out of me. The Chalmers trade I could live with. Udrih has been very serviceable and Stokes I feel like is right around the corner from actually doing something.

Stokes Is a good prospect, plays smart and tuf. He Can help us bully opponents Inside for offensive rebounds and scores. He moves well and Can run the floor for easy baskets.
I like Jrich too, he got lot of heart.
Right now I am watching This team to see Our prospects grow and improve, Just too tired of Spo idiotic coaching, I give up expecting anything from This staff. Might cancel my Leaguepass, if we are back to This same non sense Next year.
TJ
J-Rich
Winslow
Stokes
Wiltside
Like Beno smart pg Play too, That Denver Game was a Joy to Watch.

Whiteside probably going to be out of commission with this oblique for about 1-2 weeks. Probably getting Dragic, Wade, and Udrih back on Friday.

I actually think we dealt Zoran & Shabazz too quickly as well and said so at the time. I'm also sure, though, that having Napier around would not have gotten us through this road trip. We'll lose a lot of games and it's invaluable experience for TJ and Josh Richardson. This is the other side of that great Chalmers deal we signed up for and almost unanimously everyone wanted to see them play.
As for the rest of the signings, we signed a great deal with Richardson (3 years with bird rights conveyed at a finger's width over minimum). Green hasn't been great, but we weren't saying that a month ago. STAT's been a pleasant surprise. He's healthy at the right time, but none of us believe he's more than a ship passing by. Right?
We are better off than last year. We have at least some young talent: Winslow, TJ, Richardson, & Stokes. None of them are great like Wiggins, but all of them look potentially serviceable (at least). We are in a better situation than last year. We also have Goran & Whiteside, who are better players for that position than we've had in a long time.
Wade is starting to miss games now - which everyone expected - and this road trip may be ideal for him to return to form by sitting out. We'll need him healthy later (if we are trying to get into the playoffs or be in the playoffs for more than 4 games).
Finally, this looks (unlike 2017) like a garbage year for the draft. Extremely top heavy and then filled with players that are not that impressive, so (once again) I'm against tanking.
Look. If we do nothing, at the end of this year a bunch of contracts expire: Andersen, Haslem, Green, Whiteside, TJ, Udrih, Deng, Wade, & Stoudemire. Andersen's contract has been like a lodestone for two years, so that alone will be a help. My point is that we're due a reformulation of the team in any case, so the wrecking ball will swing.
I'm beginning to doubt that we make any move other than a salary dump of Andersen. In my opinion it's coming too late. We should just waive him. It's better for him (he'll find another team at vet min) and us (except Mickey). We need a roster spot.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

1.Napier is pure trash.
2. J-Rich > Zoki in every aspect. Even as a rook.
3. Green was and is the best option for his role and for the vet min.
I have no problem with any of these moves, I also like Beno more then Rio for this team and Stokes is a better prospect then Ennis.
We made some big mistakes but those weren't it.

Now we Can see how dumb it was to not keep Willy Reid as a Back up to Wiltside.
We are left with absolutely no Rim protection for the Next 2 weeks in the Most difficult part of Our schedule which could easily décide Our season.

He's shooting 35% on a team that plays fast and encourages chucking.
How much would he really help us? He'd be better than Deng but at the cost of $10mill in cap space for years to come?
I don't really mind honestly. Guys don't have career shooting years here. It's a trend. If he played here he never would've matched the 40% he shot in Washington. He'd most likely just be higher volume Deng from 3.

Yeah that's true but also more opportunity for Wario sightings. I like Udrih alot. He has brought a calming presence as a backup PG. Don't judge him so quickly for this latest minor injury. He should be back on Friday. And I think we are definitely going to win out with Stokes over Ennis if this coaching staff gets there head out of there assess and plays him.

I disagree with every one of your statements:
1. Napier is as good as we made him. He has a record as a winner in college. He shot 36% for us last year from the 3 point arc which is better than most of the players on our team.
2. Zoran in his only appearance with actual minutes played well enough. His game reminds me a lot of Goran & Udrih's, fwiw. And he's had a decent international career, including playing well in FIBA. Richardson has a long way to go. The last two games should have convinced you. In a year, maybe Josh is a better player - not now.
3. Green is playing through pain now and I don't want to criticize him, but even when he's well he is streaky. That's not a great quality on a bench without other options.
4. And even though I like Beno too and think Stokes is a better prospect than Ennis (who fell off the wall last summer), I'd love to see that goofy Mario back on the team. He was maddening but he could dribble the ball and distribute. He's also shown enough at Memphis to make his critics here reflect unless they are just in love with their own certainty.
While I'm add it, this is not the year you want to tank.

Even if he's not, he is a better player than this McRoberts.
By the way, Jarell Eddie (who stung us with a 3) is shooting them at 41.7%. Raphiael Putney is still available, but not for long. After him, it's a pretty big drop off for scoring small forwards that can hit a 3.

Nape doesn't put up sexy stats but he can run some offense, doesn't have a problem taking the lead and can drive at the very least. I disagree about everything on the J-rich comment, I actually think the opposite... but that's subjective. Green's role is not one that this team can support, in fact not many teams could support it... was a bad signing for us. I would've took Thorton/Rasual Butler over him or just left the roster spot empty. Would've even took Zoki over him... all subjective opinions tho, and it doesn't matter now.
(I know rasual doesn't play)
