1.Napier is pure trash.

2. J-Rich > Zoki in every aspect. Even as a rook.

3. Green was and is the best option for his role and for the vet min.

I have no problem with any of these moves, I also like Beno more then Rio for this team and Stokes is a better prospect then Ennis.

We made some big mistakes but those weren't it.

I disagree with every one of your statements:

1. Napier is as good as we made him. He has a record as a winner in college. He shot 36% for us last year from the 3 point arc which is better than most of the players on our team.

2. Zoran in his only appearance with actual minutes played well enough. His game reminds me a lot of Goran & Udrih's, fwiw. And he's had a decent international career, including playing well in FIBA. Richardson has a long way to go. The last two games should have convinced you. In a year, maybe Josh is a better player - not now.

3. Green is playing through pain now and I don't want to criticize him, but even when he's well he is streaky. That's not a great quality on a bench without other options.

4. And even though I like Beno too and think Stokes is a better prospect than Ennis (who fell off the wall last summer), I'd love to see that goofy Mario back on the team. He was maddening but he could dribble the ball and distribute. He's also shown enough at Memphis to make his critics here reflect unless they are just in love with their own certainty.

While I'm add it, this is not the year you want to tank.

I am with you 99.9% here except I wouldn't call Napier trash. But I do think having Napier would've frustrated the staff (stubborn player for this team) and people would've been fuzzing about TJ not getting minutes (more deserving IMO) . Napier would've done nothing for us other than take a roster spot in a guaranteed contract. I also like Beno as veteran PG who makes the right plays on offense, doesn't turn the ball over and can score. Not bad for a 3rd PG.

I will never lose my grip. I just hate McBob with a burning passion. He's a scrub who can't stay healthy. How many good games has he actually had?

Even Beas dropped 17 and 8 while guarding DeMarcus Cousins in an OT win.

McBob is making 5 times more money not just this season but for years to come. Until 2018...

I agree, as an individual, Beasley is a better player than McBob, great stats but in a team game McBob is a better player for any team. His downfall has been his health the last couple of years. He was relatively healthy player for most of his career (72, 50, 67, 78) but for some reason since he got here to Miami he has been a M.A.S.H unit regular. I can definitely understand people's frustrations.

The thing is that McBob has given us nothing and he is set to make $6mill a year until 2018.

You don't think Riley would rather have Beasley for the min as an expiring?

My argument isn't even that Beasley would be of more help to us.

My argument is that even if he gives us nothing he'd be the better option because of his contract.

As things stand we're going to have to pay someone to take McBob off of our hands.

Let's start counting his different suits. It'll give us something to do while we wait for his triumphant return. I've seen two. He must have more.

Yes, and it's going to cost quite a lot.

I understand what you are saying but it is still all a hypothetical if you are comparing who is a better player. The bottom line is Riley did not know McBob was going to be hurt when he signed him. Look at his health history before that but Riley has done the Beasley ride before several times and for some reason he treats it as "in case of emergency" like the rest of the league. The only fact we know is that McBob is here already, that he's been hurt and we can either see his value in how he can help the team if/when he gets back or keep toying around with the idea that someone would take him in a trade (and yes, it is going to cost us). Hindsight is 20/20.

If we magically cut Mcbob tonight, he would get offers from multiple NBA teams by tomorrow, despite him being injured.

Beasley, even healthy, couldn't get 1 offer.

The all hating on Mcbob thing makes no sense.

When Anthony Davis was injured his production was also 0. (injuries tend to do that). My kid brother could've produce something better then 0, so by your logic my kid brother > Antony Davis.

It's senseless. Mcbob has been unlucky with 2 consecutive injuries, that doesn't make him a bad player, it makes him injured. You should wish him (and us) a speedy recovery, not wish he was gone.
