The NBA did the videos using a greenscreen. So Steph Curry, Jeremy Lin, James Harden might not have been in the same room together. I wonder when they took time from the the Hornets practice schedule to do it.

Sounds like this summer is going to be wildly speculative. Anyone know if Amick or Amico is the the reliable one? I keep getting the two guys confused. One is suppose to be reliable, the other less so.

Forbes wrote:The NBA started a deal with Chinese internet company Tencent in July to provide live games and other programming. The pact, worth $500 million guaranteed over five years, also has a revenue sharing component worth up to $200 million.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2016/01/20/new-york-knicks-head-the-nbas-most-valuable-teams-at-3-billion/#61b018862d3a10c326df2d3a

So it sounds like the TenCent contract, especially the revenue sharing component, may also help inflate the salary cap on top of the domestic TV contracts with ESPN and the like.

Yes, he's always been a good locker room presence and close to his teammates (both current and ex), even if it has no bearing on whether he'll stay. They appear in his videos even after they part ways, and they show up to his charity fundraisers. No matter what happens, he'll never publicly say a single bad word about any past teammate or organization or fanbase, no matter how things ended. This isn't Lance.

Okay, that last one with Jessica Biel wasn't a teammate. But since I started with the Landry Fields kiss, I thought I'd end with Jessica Biel kissing him (funny thing is he didn't even know who kissed him onstage at the awards show till a friend texted him later, since he wasn't very plugged into pop culture, spending all his time practicing basketball or playing Dota ).

alright lol, youve pretty much demolished lins name in about half those pics. I remember that one with jessica biel though, where lin said he didn't know who she was lol. Actually, I didn't either back then, so I guess its not so surprising.

Clutchfans, the board for the rockets actually had a funny thread going when lin was on their team. Whenever lin had some interaction with a female, the following game he would go linsanity on the other team. So whenever a pic of lin with a hot chick got posted, guys would be predicting linsanity mode for the next game. Funny enough there was some positive correlation lol.

I'm starting to suspect some of the frequent posters in this thread are fan girls.

Don't forget the Lin-hating trolls from Clutchfans pretending to be crazy Lin fans that got caught with IP checks early on, and are probably back under a new persona to troll

half season has passed, lin only has 4 games that he had 5 or 5+ assists, only one game with 7 assists, three games with 5 assists... this is so not like lin... it is pathetic...

Lin has 36 games with 5 or 5+ assists in lakers
Lin has 24 games with 5 or 5+ assists in Houston Rockets 13-14
I don't need to look at the numbers of 12-13 or 11-12, there should be many games .....

There are no above the rim finisher and slasher in this team. Maybe that's one reason why.

This is one reason. Another is that no one can hit an open shot except Batum or Kemba, and neither are really catch and pop shooters. Another is that no one really sets great picks, and even those that occasionally set picks (Hawes, Frank, Zeller) don't roll or pop well. Another is that the Hornets don't run. Another is that Lin's injury and shooting woes have limited spacing opportunities.

I think more Troy would help -- dude is shooting 48% from 3PT. Maybe a slashing MKG would help too.

No one can hit an open shot except Batum or Kemba? Marv, Lamb, PJ when he feels like it, Troy when he plays, Roberts when he plays, Frank, Hawes at times. It's Lin that is least likely to hit the open 3 point shot on the team if passed to.

Lamb received Lin's lobs earlier in the season. Then it stopped. Batum occasionally in the open floor. MKG may when he gets back.

There are guys cutting to the basket. In fact, Lin and Kemba should live on cuts to the basket from each other. I wish our offense was more organized to do so.

offense is good enough, defense is whack though, team not organized on the floor. Part of the problem is the rotations. Having Lin as an SG, instead of the backup PG messes up the rythm of the team in my opinion. Cliff should go back to the rotations he had in the beginning of the season, reinstate bench force 1, let the team have some structure again, maybe we will win a few more games?

Not sure why you went to the effort to make a weak argument in support of PJ, Troy, Roberts, and Marv!

PJ when he feels like it? Since PJ shoots 35%, I'd venture to say that he often doesn't "feel like it".
Troy when he plays? He plays 8 minutes/game.
Roberts when he plays? He plays 9 minutes/game.
Frank, Hawes at times? Frank shoots 41% and Hawes shoots 39%, so by "at times", I think you mean "not really".
Marv shoots 42% so I'd say he's not that reliable either.

Lamb is the only dude, other than Nic or Kemba that is a reliable shooter.

Lamb is now shooting 31% from three only slightly better than Lin.
Lamb has been shooting well inside the arc.

Now, I feel Kemba is the type of player like Carmelo.
They can score at clutch time, but................
