Where's Rockhardy the stat lover? Always ready to pile on Hassan for the teams +/- when he is playing.
But hasn't said a word on to why our team is worse with Wade on the floor?
Agenda much?

That really isn't that impressive. Plus 62 over the course of 37 games breaks down to + 1.67 per game hardly ground breaking. Same goes for Wade with no Goran which I'm sure has gotten worse because of these last few blow outs.
Clearly Wade isn't who he used to be but Goran has been good either. Only Bosh has made major positive impact this season.

Re: Official HEAT 2015-16 Regular Season Thread - Vol. II
I think the most frustrating thing about this season has been the fact that no one outside the fans is willing to address the coaching issue
Listening to talk radio earlier today I had to turn it off in anger lol cause a caller was talking about losing patience with Spo and instantly the host was all "How are you gonna blame Spo for the roster!?!?"
Oh well I dunno, perhaps the fact that Spo is completely unable to adjust his coaching style to accommodate his roster might be a problem? Yes, this roster looks horrible when you force it to play halfcourt smallball and have our offense depend on its ability to shoot 3s. But we have a roster that can get in transition with Dragic and our athletic wings (Winslow, TJ, Green), and we also have a roster that can play suffocating D and punish teams inside much like how the Grizzlies have been doing the last 4 or 5 years. Grizz haven't won a ship but they've been a perennial 50+ win team who advances in the yoffs, and right now I'm pretty sure any Heat fan would take that level of success right now. Problem is tho, we have a stubborn coach who can't coach a team past the 1st round of the yoffs unless he has literally the best player in the game to run his entirely inflexible rigid style of play.
Just had to get that off my chest lol

Wade was easily the best player on the court last night. Too bad the team is ass.

Gasol is more a high-post player, Bosh could fit that role. What we don't have is someone like prime Randolph but between Wade and Whiteside, hell even Dragic, scoring inside we could be just as effective when it comes to an offense based on efficient volume points in the paint. Before these last couple of weeks of horrific play we were among the league leaders in raw team FG%. We're still top 10 currently.

Re: Official HEAT 2015-16 Regular Season Thread - Vol. II
I like plus-minus sometimes, but in this case it's unfair because we've faced a murderer's row. So the numbers are skewed.
Haberstroh has an agenda. he's trying to push Wade and Whiteside out. He wants Bosh at the five, with Dragic pushing the pace and 3 point shooters. He was on the radio early this afternoon telling the host (I have no idea who) that we should let Whiteside walk. That's he's not worth anywhere near the max because he is immature on snapchat and because he's not Tim Duncan. Then he backed off on the tim duncan thing because he realized that was ridiculous.
Was anybody else offended by Bill Simmons trade proposal of Bosh and Winslow to the Clippers for Blake Griffin? What is Bosh's trade value, seeing as he is our best asset? Could we get some kind of package surrounding Devin Booker and the return of our draft picks? A package surrounding Myles Turner or Cj mCCollum?

I tkink Wade and Bosh don't need a team. They both have too big ego. Theyneed just some guys to pass them a ball.

I'm at the point where I realize our days of winning are behind us. However I DO like our Core moving forward.
Dragic
Bosh
Whiteside
Is a good start.
It's time to find out next SG and our next SF. Whether or not Justise can be either of those is up in the air.
But we Need to move on from Wade. He is too inconsistent, misses games (he isn't fooling anyone playing "hurt", he would be sitting these games out if not for it being a contract year on what is likely his last Contract).
Once he signs a 2-3 year deal he will go back to missing 20-25 games, back to backs etc.
I love the guy, but I love the heat more.
We gotta move on. Bring in a SG that can SHOOT and defend. One that isn't a ? Every other game if he is gonna play or not. And one that is MORE FOCUSED ON THE GAME THAN SOCKS and WINE and crap like that.
That's my opinion anyways. Imo we won't win another title til Wade is outta here OR 6th man bench role with a legit SG and SF in our starting 5.

"Q:The Raptors were getting to the rim at will, or else it was a drive-and-kick every possession for an open three. The Heat need Hassan Whiteside. -- Ahmad.
A: It's fascinating, for all the conjecture of whether the Heat's defense is better without Whiteside (based on some advanced metrics), you could see times during the Raptors game where the perimeter defender was up tight on his cover, practically expecting a second line of defense in place. And while there have been questions late in games about Whiteside against smaller lineups and pick-and-rolls, he also makes the earlier stages of games easier for players such as Dwyane Wade, because there is someone there to clean up mistakes. This team has gotten very much used to playing with Hassan. If there is a move away from Whiteside at the trading deadline or in free agency, it could have a greater impact than some metrics indicate. An interior stopper helps make defenders look better on the perimeter, as well."
No ****, sherlock.

6-39 over the last five games. That's good for a whopping 15%. What bothers me the most about this cupcake dunking, flakka smoking slapdick is he thinks he's really good.
I'd rather have Michael bleeping Beasley again.

Not Green's fault, we should expect him to be terrible with no one setting him up/ aswell as all the injuries he's dealing with. We just can't expect to win with all these inexperienced/low IQ players. I expect to miss the playoffs, our ceiling is much higher, but I wouldn't be surprised if we missed it. Badly structured team, little assets, and if we can't withstand injuries for a majority of the post-all star season or make any significant trades then I don't see much of anything keeping us afloat. I hope I'm wrong.
Long Live Winnie. Mamba siempre

it's strange that he never announced his retirement.
I think long term fans deserve more and to not be strung along. If you ain't comin' back say you're done b*tch

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

but then again not sure what's worse not announcing it or announcing it near the start of the season and have every single game there after a farewell game for yourself in every single arena (ahem, Kobe
)

There's an easy solution for that. Keep signing him to 1 year deals. The bigger question is ... how effective is he really? Do we want to keep him as the focus of our offense. IMO that is what we need to move on from. IMO his best role is playing 25 minutes a game off the bench. But I don't foresee that happening.
