is geting Joakim Noah a good idea and how can we get him ? can we get him in free agent or can we get him now in a trade?

I like Noah, he's a difference maker and a Skiles guy. But he's got a nasty injury and is over 30 now. If we could get him on a cheap deal, I'd be for it, if we have to over pay him then I'd pass.

I wouldn't be opposed to signing him in FA, he isn't a top player anymore, but he can still contribute on the defensive end, and it also gives us some toughness which we desperately need.

I would.....3-4 years ago. Now? He has become injury prone and for a player going into his 30s with that history? That is red flags everywhere for me.


We dont want another Grant Hill signing.

Given that Noah's skills are based on his athleticism and energy. Those skills come with an expiation date between 31 to 32. Don't believe me, ask Ben Wallace. Noah as done well for the Bulls prior to his injury fill seasons dating back to last season. At this point, the Magic are wise to spend their money on a better prospect than Noah a this point.

For super cheap in the offseason, sure

But for count on him.
